I saw where Chuck Swenson competed at I-80 this past weekend. I thought I heard he retired last year so was surprised to see him out. Anyone know if he plans to run full time this year or what his plans are?

Now that takes me back, way back. I enjoyed his racing for years but been a long time since I saw him, maybe 3+ years. Is the car still yellow and carrying X as the number or was it XX?
Lawlessness + liberalism = HELL - NYC, Detroit, Chicago,
Seattle, LA Who the H runs those cities.

He messed around with late models for a couple of years. Had back surgery last year and is racing sprints this year.

Chuck drove the yellow X and i think the X had a checked flag pattern. Wish i had a photo. Most of the time he was at Husets or Jackson, Good to see he is back .

If memory serves me correctly he was caught cheating at the Brodix race in Knoxville. Something of that nature anyways. I remember him being up in the wheel and hard on the gas so I say welcome back.
Cheers!

he got caught at Knoxville with big , big rules violation, he got caught 2 more times with ASCS and I think he got banned for rest of season.

last i seen him race was at LOS nationals (lake ozark) and they told him he had to start the back of the B feature for aggressive driving during the heat races so he loaded his hauler and left!! Nothing like seeing a big yellow semi and big name driver leaving a race.

Good to see the X car back racing this season! Hoping to see Chuck race again at Jackson. There seems to be alot of local teams cutting back and not racing much!

How about we all get past the "past". Ther are alot of local sprint car teams cutting back this season. Good to see the X of Chuck Swenson back racing, hope to see him at the Jackson speedway.
