Is there anyone else out there who bought the Ocala usac pay per view and are not getting any response from 3wide video about the refund they said they would give back for the poor video and rained out shows back in Feb?? I got 1 response from them saying they want my pay pal acct. Seems odd they collected the $29.00 from visa why not credit it back to my visa?? I will never do business with them again with the poor customer service or no customer service ...Beware ,,they keep dragging this refund on hoping everyone gives up!

I 'feel your pain' -- I didn't have any luck with my request in the 'customer is always right' department - despite having and presenting their representative with an email clearly showing otherwise.

Seems that they are more focused on immediate dollars in their pockets than making good on their mistakes and nurturing repeat customers' purchasing their product.

Timely customer service is not their strength nor apparently a concern of theirs .... and that's just my 'humble and educated opinion'. I've not been particularly impressed with their streaming video quality or 'customer service' and won't buy again.

MDR - Not the case. No one is trying to drag it out until folks give up. The folks that were supposed to handle the refunds took the money and didn't process the refunds for our users. They had the list, they had the $'s and they didn't get it done. No excuses - it did not happen.

I've got the full list and will be contacting everyone on that list to handle it personally. The system we are using does not allow for a credit back to your card without charging us a percentage and a processing fee. That will be changed. Easier to send a paypal payment, less expensive to send a hard check or give each customer free access to upcoming shows. Any way you look at it - we (read - I) will handle this issue.

We've had our hands full retooling the website - building for upcoming events and generally regrouping. A pending press release will explain a lot of it but does not excuse the delay in refunds.

You are most welcome to email me directly - [email protected] .

People that know me know that when I say I'm going to do it - it happens. You have my apology for the delay. I've noted on other posts that we are getting a handle on the open issues - this being one of them.

And folks - STOP using the phone number that's on the site. It was posted to the wrong email address and I'm going to kill it off. Email me directly. I took a support call from a user today in Vegas. We took 45 minutes to show her how to login and view the Perris show from this weekend.

The on demand from Perris will go up ASAP. Those that purchased the Perris event last weekend can login and see the show again.

Thanks

Henry Clarke

Phil - your issue was explained to you in very clear terms.

When you purchased an event - the event reciept says you can view the event - the uploaded event for the next 90 days. We had some issues getting shows up to the system but we've overcome that issue. The Perris event from this past Saturday is up.

For the third time. We entered the name of an event in the system without a date on it and the reciept kicked that out in the same form - so instead of Perris March 31 - 90 days yours said Perris - 90 days.

Oddly enough most folks have been able to reach us over the last 2 weeks. That's been a case of me taking these issues on personally and this one is no different.

You have something you want to say email: [email protected]

Your receipt and when I bought it said I had access to "Perris Auto Speedway" was granted until May 26th .. since last year Perris races were free on UStream - I figured they were just wanting a few bucks for viewing their races for a few months. The previous race I bought from you clearly stated "Ocala Night One" -- and I was so un-impressed with your 'coverage' and directorial quality that I didn't bother buying the other two nights.

Spin it how you wish - you have an unsatisfied customer here and you have failed miserably with your feeble attempts at satisfying same. All your company had to do was honor what your receipt said and all would be fine ... however your desire to squeeze some more bucks out of me has alienated any future needs for your productions on my behalf. Good luck with your future streaming ventures ... apparently you will need it.

Reciept apology and explanation #5 - it was an honest mistake and you are the ONLY person to date to try to claim 90 days access to everything in sight.

No 410 race from Perris last season was broadcast for free.

Every 410 race from Perris was blacked out and pay per view. I produced everyone of them. So now tell me my directorial skills were bad on those like you did on Ocala...or the audio was bad somewhere else (not my doing), the white balance was off (can't control that one) or my socks didn't match (I'll work on that). Please something from last year to toss into the kitchen sink of pointless rants that you've launched at me - something!!

Ocala is over and as noted - we stunk for the first bit - we came back on nights 2 and 3 with great shows. Yeah - night two rained out so we did not get a chance to show we came back with our A game the next night.

Perris on the 25th is over - we had the wrong setting/aspect ratio - we cured it and March 31st was a great race! It's up on the site for those that Paid. On Demand will be there as quickly as possible.

Your invoice had a mistake on it. We owned up to the mistake.

You seem to want a free pizza with lobster on top. Sorry...

Had you emailed and asked a direct question and not elected to claim a "bait and switch" you would have found a more receptive ear. It's called trolling on the boards and shame on me for engaging you.

Emailing me to tell me you have declared war and I am not going to win - wow. I get it...this isn't about customer service - it's about someone telling you that you too made an honest mistake. And that approach would have netted you what the lady from Vegas got today - support - free access to an on demand event and free access to any show of her choice. You can have an evening of free access too - easy enough - post that you understand the makeup of an honest mistake and perhaps you were too quick to take an overly aggressive stance with people who are here to help.

The only communication I got from you was an accusation of a "bait and switch." Not really a polite way to say - hey - you may have screwed up - please explain.

We live in a very rude world these days. I make a very real effort when given the chance to operate differently. I'm sure you're a nice guy, well liked and respected in your profession. Take a moment from this side of the issue and maybe you'll understand that hard working people who pour all their energy into a project don't appreciate the accusations that you threw at us without so much as a chance to explain. Well send you your $9.95 back in full. Email me where to send it.

Phil seemed to have understood that he had it wrong, but decided to post about it again when he saw this new issue. The truth is Phil was confused about what he was buying, but he either won't own up to it, or he's still confused... I don't have to be so nice.... Phil may be good at home theater stuff, but when it comes to common sense, I wouldn't trust him to start my lawnmower.

Believe me Kenny - I could start your lawnmower a LOT easier than getting satisfaction out of 3W ... and I've spent a lot longer trying to do same. All they had to do was say - "Our bad - here's access" instead Henry has emailed me with "blah, blah" and that's a direct quote. If you'd like I can forward you the emails... anyone who knows me - knows that I wouldn't bring this up unnecessarily --- and I had wrote it off until someone else had issues with their customer service -- and lack thereof.

Again ... if it's made right I will post same -- until then it's still a festering sore....

Henry could be a nice guy with great intentions -- to date he hasn't shown it to me. He did offer a refund -- but I don't care about that now - I was bored and wanted to watch Perris Sat night since the WoO was rained out. Apparently I pissed him off even more than he did me....

EDIT - and I didn't wanna watch "everything in sight" as Henry claims - last Saturday was all I had interest in since WoO was rained out -- yet again.... Instead (and since I couldn't watch Perris) I watched a movie with my son and it was a good one "Tucker and Dale vs Evil" -- if ya ain't seen it please do = hil-frikken-larious...

Alls I gots to say is "The Customer is Always Right" ... especially when they have a receipt saying so -- and even moreso if it's your bad for the however unfortunate wording of same..

And EDIT #2 (just for Kenny/BigFish) I wasn't confused at all - you've seen the receipt and it said "PERRIS AUTO SPEEDWAY" until May 26... no specific event, date nor VOD or whatever stated. THE ISSUE was with the service provider. If I had messed up with a client I would have made it good... no matter the cost much less only $9.95 -- but even weirder is that they could authorize an additional stream for free with merely a click of a few buttons.... but apparently that was too much trouble. And I seriously doubt adding my stream for the night would have put them over their DaCast bandwidth quota... if so they got worse problems than me...

Don't really matter in the ultimate scheme of things -- they actually did me a favor - got to see a great, hilarious movie with my son ... and that's priceless - IMHO.

But it still pisses me (somewhat) that they'd rather alienate a past (and potential future) customer than make things right with a few clicks of a keyboard.....

Henry - alls I knows is I watched Perris last year for free on UStream ... don't recall if it was 410, 360 or 4 cylinder -- hell it was LAST YEAR fercrlyinoutloud.

Yep - Ocala (or as you called it 'Ovala' in one of your emails to me) is over - and I did buy the first night and it really sucked IMHO. But if you "came back on nights 2 and 3 with great shows" (but the 2nd night was rained out) how does that statement make sense to a rationally thinking person??? Sure you backpedaled with "Yeah - night two rained out so we did not get a chance to show we came back with our A game the next night." Again .... WTF?? You just simply cannot grasp logic can you?

And yep - I've launched a "kitchen sink of pointless rants" at you ... that's me = pointless kitchen sink launcher ... that's what us TROLLS do (reckon that's why I'm a moderator on Hosehead's MAIN sprint car message board) .... along with criticizing your sock color... seriously do you even realize how irrational your lame retorts have become?? Any chance you hang out with Charlie Sheen?

And your claim of "The only communication I got from you was an accusation of a "bait and switch" = yes I said that (because that's what it honestly seemed like to me at the time) - but you know damn well there have been several email exchanges between us other than that -- do you REALLY want me to post them???

Oh - and lest I forget the "free pizza with lobster on top" = sounds yummy ... do you deliver to OKC?? I'd be willing to wager you've been told at least a billion times not to exaggerate. wink

And heartfelt kudos to the lady from Vegas that spent 45mins on the phone with you to get access to that archived race -- she must have the 'patience of a saint' .... I get $40/hr - and that would put me about $30 in the hole for my time there... hope she felt her time was well spent. She was likely thankful she wasn't with an outsourced CSR that could barely speak English.

Furthermore you accuse me of emailing you that I have "declared war"?? Nope - wrong again .. all I told you via email is that you are messing with the wrong person ... and also stated my deep ties to the sprint car racing video production community. If you have a problem with that - it's your own ... and again mal-informed. Take that for what you think it's worth....

Again -- for the 'UMPTEENTH time'... all you had to do was say "My bad - here's access to the stream to Perris" and it would have been 'no harm-no foul' ... BUT rather than clicking a few buttons on your keyboard/mouse - your company chose to SEVERELY piss off a paying customer (with a receipt clearly stating entitlement to your stream - even IF it was MIS-WORDED .. and again that falls squarely UPON YOUR COMPANY's shoulders - not mine) and YOU therein chose to create what has resulted in a helluva lot of ill-will -- at least for this "person sitting behind a keyboard that has no clue what he's talking about"... and thanks again for your spot-on, accurate assessment of my intellect.

IF it was an "honest mistake" --- why did you not admit so on Saturday night and allow me access to the race I wanted to watch??? Apparently your hindsight is 20/20... but it's a bit too little and a LOT too late as there's likely not an instance that I'll want to watch Perris until a LOT later this year... maybe ... like if they'd get Turkey Night??? ....

The way he see's it he gets to watch, should be able to watch every broadcast till May for no cost. Ask yourself why you're the only one who came up with that idea, and if you come up with the right answer I just might let you start my mower, but with supervision.Smile

What the hell doe's it matter if it was free on usteam last year Phil? This is not last year, is it?

Why would anyone pay $9.95 to 3WIDE Video after paying $29.99 for one night of Ocala usac when it was advertised 3 nights? No coverage the first night and rained out second night? Then they post a refund in the amount of five bucks?? Do the math ,,,we got ripped off and ignored since early February..If someone else collected the money and didnt refund us it dont matter! 3WIDE video will be held accountable since they advertised 3 nights but failed to deliver what they said they would.. You can't sugar coat the facts!!!

I don't know anything about that, and that's not what Phil's lack of understanding is about... Phil only bought and paid for one night! Phil went on a assumption, and he assumed wrong. "I figured they were just wanting a few bucks for viewing their races for a few months". Funny that no one else thought they had a free pass for "a few months".

Phil ordered for one night, and he recieved what he paid for, one night.

I'm the left wing commie pinko rat fink, but it's the Phil who wants something for nothin. LOL

No coverage of the first night of Ocala? Funny, I paid for the first night only and watched it with no problem. There was definitely coverage.

Oh ,,Yes I did get coverage the first night,,interviews with the drivers,,then when it came race time I was froze. Then booted off. Then live racing resumed for a lap or so then froze . Then nothing at all!! Depends on what you call coverage!!I rebooted several times then just gave up,,I lost it all. No feature race whatsoever!!

You want coverage watch Knoxvilles pay per view!!! Dirtvision has had their issues but atleast they make it right with you!!

Hmmm. I saw the interviews, too. I also saw qualifying, the heats, semi and the A main and did not have any trouble with freezing up. Read some of your other posts and you mentioned having trouble with Dirt Vision and the Chili Bowl audio as well. I listened to most of the nights of the Chili Bowl (no problems) and have watched Dirt Vision (few problems), too without problems. Not trying to be offensive, but it sounds like the problem is on your end.

I'd like to apologize for my postings last night - I was a bit inebriated due to a drinking game of my sister's wherein while watching the StL Cardinals opening night game on ESPN we drank each time the announcers mentioned Albert Pujols (he left the Cardinals over the Winter to play for LA Angels). So by the end of the third inning I was already a bit trashed.... Smile That, combined with some pain meds I had taken after having some dental work done had me feeling fairly froggy - and again I apologize. Good thing I didn't have to drive anywhere in that condition -- but apparently I shouldn't have been typing in that condition either... wink

Henry offered a refund - but I don't really want or need it - thanks anyway. All I wanted was to watch the race Saturday -- as I thought I had bought Perris races due to the wording of the receipt I was sent. Evidently it was a mis-understanding and error on both sides -- 3 Wide for the wording of their receipt with no specific race date mentioned and mine for thinking it was for more than one race.

BTW - if you'd like to watch a HILARIOUS movie - check out "Tucker and Dale vs. Evil" - that's what we watched instead of Perris on Saturday and it is a clever, very funny twist on the 'scary cabin in the woods' horror movie genre.

I have broadband hookup Roadrunner. Last I heard its about the best you can get. Dirtvision paid back for the problems they had at volusia. The entire week they refunded ?? And I did get some coverage to boot. The chilli bowl dont matter it was free coverage. Its when I pay top dollar compared to other video and get far worse product is when I have an issue. The rained out night @ $10.00 charge is not right. The chili bowl audio I don't recall ever having problems with,,,what post you referring to?I call it the way I see it ,,,or dont. Oh sorry I did pay for the chili bowl and didnt have any problems that I recall.
