Speaking of horsepower, I remember reading a year ago in Flat Out or Sprint Car & Midget magazine about a Hall of Fame sprint car driver, name I forget, who had a typical small block chevy but sitting on top of it was not a carburetor or injection, but a GMC supercharger. Had trouble keeping the front wheels on the ground. Car built in the mid 1960s I think. Driver was from Arizona or Nevada.

Ahhhh, the memories NWFAN. I lived for some time in the next town over, Wakarusa and there were almost as many buggy's there as cars. Big smile on my face up here in Canada.....

small world, i hauled trailers and fifth wheels for horizon transport in 2010, out of wacky. i love tha tneck of the woods. hauled a lot up through canada from vancouver island. grand prarie, edmundton, cam loops to newfoundland. what a great year that was...
