Thanks for all of the suggestions! I am wondering, with all the haulers and everything in the infield, if you are able to see across to the backstretch from 10 rows in the front grandstands?

I sit in row 13 turn one and we see the cars on the top line and the top of the wing on the inside line on the back straight away. Row 10 will see a little more but your right at the bottom of the roof line and on a hot day might get to be a little smelly there ..

It is hard to see over the haulers no matter your vantage point at the track. I wish there was a way to keep the haulers up top so we can see all of the track like the good ole days! I'll even help the teams haul equipment into the pits!

I am planning on going to the Brad Doty Classic, The Knight Before the Kings Royal, and The Kings Royal this year. This will be my first year going so I am wondering where the best places to sit are? I am also wondering what there is to do for entertainment near the track during the day, at Eldora?

When i first started going to eldora i loved to bring my own chair and sit in turn 4 on concrete. but after i got sooted in dirt a few times i started to sit in grandstand under the roof. great place to sit just bring your earplugs.

I have sat down low in the grandstand the last few years and it is not a big deal with me. They are usually haulin as up close to the wall coming off the 2nd corner. The only part that you may not be able to see is down by the inside wall where they end up in a crash. The cars are going so fast at the Big "E" they are only on the back stretch for the blink of an eye anyway.

We have sat in the grandstands and in turn 4 in our lawnchairs and seeing the bottom of the back stretch isn't possible from either angle. When this post was started the person was asking what to do around the track during the day and since my family and I always stay in Greenville at the Comfort Inn I have picked up 2 visitors guides from the area. they both give lots of stuff to fill a lazy day and can be ordered from www.discoverourlegends.com or www.seemore.org. These aren't links just addresses.
