So now that Calistoga has rained out, how many OUTLAWS will show up at Perris. Are they ALLOWED to race with other clubs when they get rained out? Will their car owners and sponsors ALLOW it? Can they jump in someone elses car, like the Moose Mobile?
In the old days before the World of Outlaws copywrited the name, guys like Ferkel, Hewitt and Wolfgang would travel all over the country looking for the biggest purse, and you never knew where they would show up. Someone would call our house early Saturday morning with the news and then I would have to ride my bike to the fairgrounds to see if that faded yellow zero car was really in the pits. How cool would it be to see Haud run at the PAS this weekend?
So was Jesse Hocket the LAST REAL OUTLAW? We'll see......
