Elite Racing, Craviotto Drums and Lady Antebellum Own the Night in Fresno by Kelly Brown - Elite Racing PR MARCH 29, 2012 On
a typical night when two-time World of Outlaws Champion Jason Meyers
straps into his #14 Allstar Performance KPC, he owns the night while
the fans in the stands are “Lookin’ for a Good Time.” Last night in
Fresno, Meyers and fellow Elite Racing team owner Guy Stockbridge got
an opportunity to “Own the Night” with Lady Antebellum thanks to team
partner Craviotto Drums. As Meyers proceeded backstage, Johnny
Craviotto walked up to the champion back and said, “Welcome to my
world.” It was definitely a fun night of music as the2010 and 2011
World of Outlaws Champion went from being the main attraction to
watching it. The Fresno native got to attend a meet and greet with Lady
Antebellum before watching the concert featuring the award-winning
band, Darius Rucker, and Thompson Square. The partnership between
Craviotto and Elite Racing began many years ago at Thunderbowl Raceway.
Meyers was at the trailer after celebrating a victory and like any fan
Johnny Craviotto came by to congratulate him on his finish and struck
up a conversation. This conversation led to a partnership which would
allow the future champion to run at the Dirt Cup a few weeks later. “It
was great to see Johnny Craviotto in his element and get a behind the
scenes look at his world,” commented Meyers. “He has been a friend and
partner of ours for a long time and it means a lot to have Craviotto
Drums back for the Allstar Appreciation Tour.” When the Allstar
Appreciation Tour came together, Meyers asked several sponsors from the
past, including Craviotto to be a part of the tour. As the Allstar
Appreciation Tour comes to a conclusion this weekend at Merced and
Calistoga Speedway, it will be with friends and partners from the
present and past.
