So, this weekend I was reading the race report from the 'new' ASCS PR dude and wasn't all that impressed. Then, today I see the race reports Lonnie Wheatley did for the ASCS 305 races from Lubbock. I like Wheatley's style - shorter report, but to the point and gives the reader what they want to read. The new guy seems to ramble on and on and on...sort of like a WoO race report...which is why I don't read them either I guess. Shout out to ya Mr. Wheatley!

100% on that. In all his years there, never made a mistake in car numbers. Seen many this year.
Lonnie didn't win all those awards taking any short cuts. He is the man.

What's Lonnie doing now?? Is he still involved in racing?? He was good at what he did. All the travel probably burned him out.

I agree Mr. Wheatley did a great job. The new guy likes himself a lot. Loves to give HIS opinion on a lot of topics. The new guy has made several mistakes and goes on forever.
