Brad Sweet 6th at Fontana in the Nationwide #38. They just interviewed him in the pits after the race with some kind words said about how fast he was running in the tight pack at the end with the name drivers. Good luck for the rest of the season Bradley!

Always cool to see Calif. young guns who raced karts and sprint cars locally advance their pro careers and then interviewed on ESPN!!!! I remember when Sweet drove the 1ยข to what might have been his 1st heat in a 360 winged sprint car at Petaluma in 2003 or maybe 2004. Hw was knee high to a grass hopper in those days. Smile

Way to go Brad Sweet and hoping you get that 1st Nationwide win in 2012!

Sweet did a hela'va job after the last restart, slice'n and dice'n with all the cup guys in the biggest battle of the race. He was up to 5th until he was told to let the 3 car by at the end. 6th is a great spot for Brad's first race of the season. The 38 is a stout car with Kasey or Sweet driving it. I'll bet they both win this season.
