If you listen to the Terry Phillips interview on DirtCast, He describes his incident where he dumped a lapper and got put to the back. He isn't nearly as mad about it now as he was when it happened.
I was lucky enough to get a good shot of the incident.

It was a gutsy call by the powers to be with USMTS and could have gone either way.Thing is, they didn't care who it was, they made a decision and it was final. They did the same to Jason Hughes last year (or the year before that) in about the same type incident.
Good shot by the way.

Thanks, David. It definitely ruined a great race but they had to do it. And there were other battles at the end of the race between other drivers. Watching from the infield is a great way to watch a race even though you're pretty busy.
I'll be at the King of America. If you're up there, say hi. I'm the geezer in the dayglo shirt with cameras.
