Who would you want as a fly along wrench, remember you will have to come back. I'm talking Sprint Car mechanics. We all tend to glorify the drivers and give very little attention to the man that makes it all happen. Name, Names. Dan

A. J. Watson; but since he once worked with Bob Wilke, can I have them both?
Half the lies they tell about me aren't true.

Karl and Sammy were obvious. How about Bob Trostle or Duece Terril.

Ralph Kramden used to always say "to the moon Alice" and he was a bus driver so Ralph would be my choice.
Ask a dumb question, expect a dumb answer!

Glen Neibel,Davy Brown,Hector Honore,Kenny Woodward,Bud Grimm,George Siebeneck,Ricky Warner,A.J.Watson,yeah,Jack Steck,Ted Hall,Bob Trostle, holy smokes I could fill up the page but these guys get the job done. Some were great motor men, some were combos, some were just chassis experts, but all were winners, just do what the driver says you will never be wrong, yeah thats why I'm standing here while you are still running fourth or were you just lapped?

Bud Grimm.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

Apparently no one ever asked Karl to try, or there would be a V8 powered sprint car on Mars.

Oh, and a couple more: Kenny Woodruff and Kenny Weld. Remember the "Lincoln" modified that Kenny Weld built and wasn't it Gary Ballough that drove it? Weld told Ballough to take it easy and not show them all it had the first day out, and Ballough ended up lappin the field twice, or something crazy like that.
