I agree with you 100%......The qualifications for that job must be the same as the walmart door greeter.

I know that Chris Smith is the Director of Competition for NCRA Late Models and at MAS he was talkin bout a triple header they had a few weeks ago and just listening to the distances they traveled up there that job can't be easy.
But ya'll are right at Lawton it means little if anything.......probably just a title he gave someone to make them feel better.

I'm assuming the director of competion would be the one in charge of the whole event. Line ups, getting things organized, and making sure it's all fair play. Then again it could be like a project manager who is supposed to oversee a job....instead they sit on their butt in an office and get mad when you call them and have to make them actually work.
Thought I would try and give you an honest answer LOL!

I think you are right Christina. I think being a Director of Competition of a series or somethin takes some hard work.......but that title at some race tracks just may not mean so much.

The door greeters of America..... they at least, have to have half of brain to function at their job... The Director of Crap...oops I mean the Director of Competition needs no functioning brain cells at all. There is something going on up there in that press box and it's not watching the races...... Maybe the hillbilly ice tea drinkin cowboy and the Director of Crap have a little Brokeback Mountain action going on......................."MY BOY ,MY BOY, MY BOY"...............
