The first practice at the Silver Dollar Speedway a week ahead of the Silver Cup included cars from winged and non winged sprint cars, modifieds, late models, street stocks and mini stocks.

I did not count them. I know that a few of the 360 winged cars are at Marysville for the race there tonight. There were more winged cars than any other division and there is another practice scheduled for March 31st.

with marysville being so close to chico . why would chico schedule a practice the same day ??? besides other divisions needing the track time . you would think all the sprints would be there to support car count and another track close by . just my thoughts . i know usac/cra and usac west coast 360 divisions got together and made sure no dates were overlapping this year . so ppl could support both series and to keep car counts up .

We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

Why is Chico going to have a playday the 31st? Thats the same day as the world of outlaw show at Calistoga. Whoever sceduled these playdays are big playa-hata's. Stop steping on each others toes.

As far as Marysville having a race scheduled goes the practice got done at 4pm and it takes 45 minutes to get there. That makes the practice an advantage to get things sorted out. I don`t think that anyone who was there yesterday would race at Calistoga anyway. No toes being stepped on there.

play date or racing. hmmm tough choice. funny that you think there will be any effect on any cars that actually want to race if there is a play date at chico.

Any feedback on the track itself. Was stated that they had greatly re-worked the track took out some banking and such. I am thinking if that is the case, it should make for better racing overall. Just wondering

Maybe someone who drove on the track yesterday can answer that. The track does look different.

I was comparing the Placerville Civil War date to the Calistoga WoO show. Those two races are the same day. Tough choice tho, the famed half mile at stoga with the greatest show on dirt, or the Civil War show?
