In the box that you rite your message there is a little icon on the top row that looks like a mountain with a sun. Choose that icon and it will bring up a box that has a BROWSE line.....you click browse to find the file on your computer....then hit the upload button....then you have to hit the insert button and your pic should be there. I hope you can understand my instructions because I am definitely not a tech writer. I don't know about the videos!

If you're using google chrome you don't have theses options. When I post photos I need to use Internet Exp.

I honestly don't know how to or I would do it. It would be awesome if somebody on here who knows how to post pictures, make links, etc could post a nice write up giving directions then one of the mods could lock it and sticky it. Anybody up for that?
Another thing that would be nice would be a set of forum rules and some moderators to enforce them. It would be nice to have some rules that require people to be civil to one another on the boards. Its ok to disagree and have spirited discussions but name calling and trolling is getting a little out of hand on here.
d.man.simmsF5 is a great example. Don't know if your a troll or what but "Figure it out like everyone else" is probably deserving of some points or a timeout or whatever. I don't think anybody will miss you or your nine posts. A strict no flaming policy would make this board such a better place.

T Bud set you up on the pics. Also works in Firefox, not sure about Chrome.
To embed videos, try checking out this link, http://www.hoseheadforums.com/video/help/index.cfm which is also found at the bottom of this page above the text box (Help with embedded video). There are instructions for yahoo, myspace?, and youtube video embedding. It's really just a matter of copying and pasting. If you're still cornfused, fire away ?'s in here and somone can surely help. Also, maybe try playing around with it in this thread. I don't think anyone will mind.
As for the board, there seems to be an ebb and flow of positive/negative energy that I've noticed in my short time on here. I think I've seen around 2-3 threads in the last year started specifically for the purpose of addressing the content and actions of members of HH.
My advice: If you lurk around long enough, you'll pick up on the +/- tendencies of certain folks. Then it's up to you to discern whether or not to engage/interact with them.
I also agree that there's certain improvements that could be made here that would create a better forum. At another board that I'm a member of there's a clearly laid out set of rules that, if abused, result in: 1) warnings, 2) removal of posting privileges, 3) permanent banning. Yes, the trolling, alternative id's (alts), attacking/instigating, etc is rather annoying and ridiculous at times, but I suggest you take it with a grain of salt. I'm just thankful that we all have a place to communicate and connect concerning sprint car racing.

That answer is the type of crap we can do without. I wouldn't use the word Dic* on the board but in my mind I am using a much much worse word.
