I notice the annual KAR banquet is tomorrow out at Elkhart, Ks. Sorry but I (along with many others up in this part of the state) won't be able to attend, If possible is there any way to post what is getting done about this years schedule, dues (mine are up for renewal) etc. Tom Barclay has always taken care of all the details but has decided to step down from all the grief. Don't blame him, he has done a great job! As we have seen we have lost a lot of our group's founders and it's time for the rest of us to carry on the tradition. There has been some talk of creating a KAR website in place of the newsletter, scout out some new racetracks to show our cars, attempt to gain some new blood in the group, etc. Let us know if anything gets decided and what direction the group is heading. Hope you have a good banquet, wish I could attend. Scotty

Yes the KAR Banquet was held last night in Elkhart, Ks. Their were about 60 people from all over the State that could attend. Yes it was a long way out there, but to start asking questions before the Meeting was held. I don't know what you are talking about Tom stepping down from all the grief. The Man and his Wife have done this for 13 years it was time for them to do something else. There is a New President and a New Board of Directors along with a 2012 Tentative Schedule that was done last night with the people that could make it. There is a lot of new things going to happen that can't get done in one night. As soon as we can get out a flyer with the changes you and everyother KAR Member in good standing will receive one. Dwane Wolf--President Sec-Trea of the Kansas Antique Racers

Thanks Dwane, glad to see the progress. Sorry to be asking questions, I guess it's a habit from my day job. LOL! I'm glad you had a good turn out and I'll be looking forward to the flyer. Now that I know who is collecting dues I'll get a check sent shortly. Thanks for stepping up and taking the position. Let us know if there is anything you need. Scotty
