GREG ALEXANDER EXCITED ABOUT 2012 AMSOIL USAC/CRA RACING!

(Gardena, CA, February 22, 2011) Personable Southern California Sprint Car driver Greg Alexander is excited about the prospects of driving for Chuck Tyler Motorsports in the 2012 Amsoil USAC/CRA Series. They will begin their assault on the West Coast's premiere Sprint Car series at Saturday's season opening Sokola Shootout at Perris Auto Speedway. Joining the stars and cars of USAC/CRA on the program will be The PAS Senior Sprint Cars and the California Lightning Sprint Cars. Spectator gates will open at 5:00 PM and the first race will be at 7:00.

"I am more confident than ever," the 22-year-old Gardena, California resident said on Monday. "We have a top five car, a winning racecar. We will have as good a chance as anybody. We
just need some breaks like everyone else. I can't wait to get in that racecar on Saturday night."

Alexander had a successful season in the Tyler Motorsports car in 2011 when he placed seventh in the USAC West Coast 360 Series standings despite missing two races. When he was not racing in the West Coast 360 Series last year, Alexander turned in several impressive performances in the John Bellagante car at USAC/CRA races at The PAS. At least season's PAS season opener, he impressed everyone when he out qualified the star studded field in the under funded #23.

For its initial foray into the world of USAC/CRA racing, the Tyler Motorsports crew is putting the Maxim chassis that it purchased late last year with a powerful, newly acquired Mopar engine under Alexander.

Current plans for the team are to race all of the Amsoil USAC/CRA events at Perris Auto
Speedway and if funding works out, to race as many out of town shows as possible. They also plan on having their 360 engine ready to go around mid season and will race in the USAC West
Coast 360 Series when there are no conflicts with USAC/CRA. Until that engine is ready, Alexander is available for other rides in the 360 division.

The 2012 crew for the team will consist of Chuck Tyler Sr., Chuck Tyler Jr., Brad's father Steve, his wife Cynthia Alexander and cousin Brad Alexander.

The following companies and individuals have jumped on board to become partners with the Chuck Tyler Motorsports/Greg Alexander tandem for 2012. Barnes Systems, Sander Engineering, Oil Twins Amsoil, King Racing Products, CSI Shocks, Da Kine Ono Grindz, NNJFI Properties, Garnica Trucking, Bondio Fabrication, Scott Daloisio Sports. If you would like to be a part of this potential main event winning team in 2012 please call Greg Alexander at: (714) 610-4566.
