Really ... using Harley as an example?
Check the labels on some of the parts boxes, they have the genuine HD label but in very small print some read "Made in China". I bought a genuine rear sprocket cover that was made in India,a harley seat made in NZ, high rise fork front end made in France, chrome brake and clutch set made in Indonesia, all bought from Harley stores in Genuine Harley boxes.

"Assembled in USA with parts from China" ...

When 2 wrongs start to make a right, this type of thought process will have an ounce of value. Just because the prizes at Chuck E Cheez are made in China doesn't mean we should go ahead and ruin our sport, economy and country.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

Bottom 1% of scumbag traitors. If it costs a little more, buy it here, if they don't make it here (like clothing) buy it from them, but we've lost 3 1/2 million jobs in past three years and losing more is coming. This guy running the country and his Harvard and Yale stooges in the WH don't care, the more they can put out of work and on welfare the more voters they have. Why do you suppose they tried so hard to get Puerto Rico to vote for statehood? Why do you suppose they are ressing so hard to 15 million illegals to be citizens and able to vote? Why have they been trying to get the vote for convicted felons, including the 1.1 million in our jails and prisons? That would give them control of this country permanently. It's Econ 101, Socialism 101. If your party offers people everything they need to survive you will take it. These people understand that.

Well maybe it's time for the lazy to go get a job instead of waiting for a handout. Go figure those on Wellfare and getting disability for BS crap seem to always have those expensive phones etc etc. this country would have jobs if we had more hard working people.

More hard working people? If there are no jobs, these hard working people cannot work.I had a great paying job, and the economy took care of that. Lost that job in Dec. 2009. Since then, I have found jobs that pay 75% less than what I was making before, leaving me with a whole LOT less to spend. It has nothing to do with hard working people. The jobs just don't pay anymore and you have to change your life. You make less, you spend less. It has nothing to do with 'more jobs if we had more hard working people'. I cannot believe how stupid that statement is.....I love to see the Sprint Cars when they come to town, I just can't afford it anymore. If I can get something 'cheaper' at a Walmart, I will accept that and buy it, I cannot look to buy the real GOOD American made stuff anymore..........It is what it is....

Statement isn't stupid as you may think. So people Americans complain there isn't any jobs! That's BS cause the Hispanic population does a hell of a job keeping busy and working 12 hour shifts 6 days a week. You see the lazy American doesn't want the job that pays 10 bucks an hour because they EXPECT or feel ENTITLED to 25 bucks an hour. They don't want to pay for health care insurance but want to drive the 50,000 dollar truck or car. They don't want to get off disability cause they may have to WORK. LAZY is alot of the problem but I agree some lose their job in one field and have to take a job that pays less. Thank your congressman that makes the rules in Washington that favors the rich

I still say it was a stupid statement. Hardworking people = more jobs? Makes no sense at all. The rest of what you say makes sense, but that statement is stupid....And everyone knows that the Republican Party rules suck, and have done in this country, because of their rich buddies. Even Republican's know this, but why would they change it? They won't...... JMHO, it doesn't mean I am right...

What part of "Cars are racing for your entertainment" are you having a problem with? Most of the "Buy American" people are hypocrites. Most of you follow NASCAR and I do not see many people boycotting Nascar because a majority of the big sponsors that support that form of racing purchase and sell foreign goods. There are no 2 wrongs here. The fact that Harley uses Chinese parts should be enough to show you folks that it is everywhere. Name 1 American automobile manufacturer that Has not, Is not, or Would not use foreign parts in their cars. Name one! Hell the US military and Politicians hand out hats, t-shirts, and even American Flags that are manufactured in other countries. That is a fact. If it is good enough for the President of the United States to purchase tour buses from Canada, and campaign items from China then it is perfectly OK for racers to get their parts from other places. You people scream "Buy American" and then support and elect a president who is willing to "Go Green" by supporting a car company that builds cars in France. Give it up people, "Buy American" died 20 years ago! Ask your president!

More hard working people how? Less money for more difficult jobs? People get on here all of the time and complain about lower payout at the race track. How the 410's should not race for $1,000 to win. Isn't that exactly what is going on in the job market? I tell you what, you go work harder, and when you are 65 and still broke, then tell us what the problem is! Yeah, the bleed heart liberals are hurting us, but that is not the end all be all of our problems!

I agreed with your statement until you started bashing the Republicans. Frankly, they all suck! I am tired of hearing that this is the Republicans fault. It is everyone's fault. And some of the points in all of these arguments are valid. First, the Mexicans are willing to work for nothing and then stuff 50 people into a 3 bedroom house. I am surrounded by them in my neighborhood. Almost every house on my block is filled with 5+ more people than really should be living there. They make sacrifices here in their youth so that they can go back to Mexico and live like kings in their later years. At least the ones that live here do, I don't know about anywhere else. I also have a relative that does not work. He is 509 lbs., on SS, and has the latest and greatest cell phone, gaming machine, and movies because of government assistance. So I also see that point, as it is occurring within my own family. (Thank God it is on my wife's side. I would be more inclined to really throw a fit and upset the family more if he were a blood relative.) And there are allot of Americans that feel entitled. I can not believe that as the economy was taking a crap the local Automotive dealerships had their facilities picketed for more money. They hadn't sold cars in months and the UAW wanted more cash. REALLY? So that is also a good point..........These are valid points, but they are not the cause and effect of the current situation.

Yep, you are 100% correct, it is. But I have noticed that this spills over into just about every thread that I have been on lately. I think it has allot to do with the fact that people are hurting. And most of these posts are just an offshoot of the general conversation, which on this thread is "Buy American".
