I didn't stay up with results there - but their car count was pretty steady wasn't it???

I went the weekend SFS was off in 2009 (opted for OCRS at Outlaw over late models at brill - one of the hottest races I've ever been I remember - and remember loving Outlaw's AC bathrooms - that was awesome).

anyway - they had a pretty good count that weekend - and I wouldn't immediately think Thunderbird took their cars - whenever I see their results it doesn't look like they have THAT many.

Mismanaged perhaps?

This is too good of a place to not get a buyer

But it's a terrible track to watch a race, you can't see the front straight way, only the tops of the cars.

I agree you cant see much on the front straight but not alot goes on down the straights anyway.

The place has alot of space not being used I would like to see them push some dirt up @ the north and south ends to throw some blankets out and sit in the grass. Cut some more bank out to get the speed managable where you arent still wide open on entry. And for gods sake go get some clay!!!

Its where i cut my teeth but alot of people have been pretty disguntled with the place the past couple years. The pure stock class just disappeared one year after having full bmains every week. The bmods did the same thing. The mods counts were all over 8-25. Didnt seem like they had B's in any classes this year. The two muskogee tracks running on Fri really hurt car counts and was a blow to racing in the area.

Looks like we will see if everyone will support t-bird this year. I doubt OMS will get purchased and reopened before the end of the season.

Hearing that Kenny Garris of mid america speedway is working on opening outlaw up.
