Justin Grant had a pretty good week at Bubba Speedway during last weeks, USAC Bubba Army Winternationals. During practice on Wed night, they hurt one of their motors that was running very strong fresh out of the box. So they dropped in another back-up Claxton Powerplant in Mark Hery's #40 DRC chassis and ran the Thurs. night show. While dialing their ride in for the three day event. Friday's show was a complete washout. Justin and his crew worked dilligently to get it better for Saturday night, and HOLY COW, did they ever get it better. Justin, not only had the car dialed in and super fast, but broke the Track Record with a blazing, 14.01. The track record was currently held by Levi Jones, but less than five cars later, Grant smoked that time and shaved it down to nearly the first ever 13 second lap in the tracks history. Saturdays A-Main was a classic battle with three of the young lions, Darren Hagen, Bryan Clauson and Justin Grant. Keep your eyes on Justin Grant and the Mark Hery's #40 sprint car team in 2012 as they are working as hard as possible to gain valuable USAC Amsoil National Sprint Car Points for the 2012 season.
