Midwest All Star Series Gears Up for Spoon River, Concord Inn & Suites Named Official MASS Hotel for Weekend

It's shaping up to be a great night of racing at Spoon River Speedway, Saturday, June 9th, featuring the O'Reilly Midwest All Star Series 410 winged sprint cars. "The Best in the Midwest" will duel for the $2,000 winner's share of the first-ever feature to be contested under the series banner…at a track known for lightening-fast speed and competitive racing at one of the region's raciest ovals.

This will be the first opportunity this season for area fans to see big-time, wheel-to-wheel, fast-paced action featuring the most competitive and extreme type of motorsports in America, winged sprint car racing "All-Star style" The weather forecast calls for a beautiful evening, so load up the family and friends and head to where the action is!

Also, to celebrate the return of big-time sprint car racing to Spoon River Speedway, the Concord Inn and Suites in nearby Pekin is offering a special rate for race fans and teams supporting the Midwest All Stars. Just mention the "All Stars" special rate when you call them at 309-347-5533 and enjoy you stay in comfort.

Grandstand admission is only $15 for this can't-miss sprint car extravaganza, with pit passes at $30. In addition to the MASS 410 winged sprint cars, the track will race its weekly divisions of late models, modified, hornets and trucks. MASS time trials will start at 6:30 with racing at 7:00 pm.

Spoon River Speedway is located near Canton, IL., just off Route 24, seven miles west of Banner on Speedway Road.
