The annual GRP Dirt Track Racing Trivia Contest opened it's gates last night for the 13th season. The contest is being hosted on the Minnesota Dirt Track Racing website at http://www.gotomn.com and will be accepting entries until midnight February 3. The contest focuses on the upper Midwest but also includes questions that deal with racing in other areas of the country. There are three divisions, Sprints, Late Models and Modifieds, you can enter one division or all three and there are cash prizes in each division. The contest is administered by Greg Parent of GRP Motorsports, Greg is a racing enthusiast and sponsor of many drivers and events in the upper Midwest. Here is a direct link to the contest http://gotomn.com/GRP%20contest/grp-contest-rules.htm

Trivias are the three lower Artes Liberales, i.e. grammar, rhetoric and logic. Americans love their vehicles, including American presidents. From William Howard Taft to Barack Obama, each United States president has had a special spot in his heart for his presidential car. Here's some fodder for next presidential car trivia contest, courtesy of the LA Times. You can read more on the US presidents and their cars, part 1 to learn some trivias.
