I think I remember reading somewhere that Kerry Madsen is looking to run the full tour, although I don't know where that stands as of right now.

Sammy will be running 90% again most likely. Madsen should be doing the same if not 100%.
The Outlaw haters always like to point out only the guys who run 100% of the shows, and ignore guys who run 80-90%. They'll have a solid field nightly.

well i guess that leaves more room for locals to make the show then don't it.
isn't that what the woo was designed for in the first place?
the woo was initially set up with about 10 traveling teams to take on the local racers at each stop of the tour.
i just love the people who bitch that the locals can't compete or make the show with the woo when they have 15-20 traveling teams, but then complain there aren't enough woo cars when there are 10 traveling teams.
in some of the most successful years the woo had they only ran around 10 traveling teams.
now on the other hand i agree the woo has implemented rules and regulations that would seem to have the potential to lower local car counts in some areas.
i can find things i don't like about the woo, but having 10 traveling teams is not one of them. that leaves at least 12 main event spots open for local racers.
that seems to me to get the woo back to what it was founded on. trying to pit some of the best traveling sprint car drivers against some of the best local sprint car drivers.
the problem now-a-days is the reduction in local racers, especially 410 racers in some areas that has reduced the overall car count at shows. the woo was never designed to be a self contained show that brought the whole field of racers with them. the woo series can not financially support 15-20 traveling teams. we have seen that.
so it is not fair to totally blame the woo when they come to your town and they have no one to race against. it is not totally their fault there are no locals to compete against.
the big excuse that has been given lately by some locals for not going out and competing when the woo comes to town is that there are so many woo teams that the locals can't make the show. well now that is one excuse they may not have.
to indy and beyond!!

Them outlaws come to our local track they need to take them wings off we run 410s without wings in this part of the country . You gotta drive about 250 miles north of here to find wings and if I remember right our wing boys held there own quite well last year .atleast the shows I traveled to up north.

Once again, it must be over for the WoO. I heard they will run Ray Evernham's Legend cars in 2013, possibly as early as 2012.

While Jason Meyers was down under it was mentioned on a number of occasions that he also would not be running a full WoO season.
I SUPPORT JASON SIDES FROM DOWN UNDER

Goodyear should always have a huge surplus of tires then with so few running the Outlaw schedule!

Kerry will not be back in the US until march at least, so running fulltime this year is out of the question. Rob hart is the new crew chief.
