Would just like to know everyones opinion on 360s running fulltime again at 34 for 2008. What would it take. I have talked to plenty of drivers and owners that are wanting to be done with the invader deal and race @ 34 weekly again.

All the fans and supporters of 360s which I might add are the biggest fan base @ 34 when theryr there, that I have talked to have said the 305s are blaw. And from what was said @ the meeting there was only like two people that ruined for all. That why they are not running them.

Im not against the invaders, great competition, good car counts on the weekends. But what the hell is with driving two hours on wed nights to go race at shit hole race tracks in Illinois. Gas is crazy, Diesel is close, $1000 to win isn't shit anymore. With all the inflation of the goods that it takes to run this series, they are going to have up the purse or you will start to see a diminish in numbers.

Wildboy: It would take a promoter/owner who was willing to do it. I do not believe that 34 Raceways wants a weekly 360 show. Your comments about traveling to sh-tholes in Illinois, tells me you aren't really a true sprint car fan, but someone who lives in Burlington and wants the luxury of driving 5 miles to have a few beers. You can always join us at Knoxville on Saturday night. It only costs $10 to get in and you could car pool with the other Burlington people who go every week. It isn't just having 360s on Saturday, because 360s have come to expect a point fund payout at the end of the year and 34 Raceway has never been good at that. i doubt that 34 is interested in giving way sprint cars, driving suits and helmets like Knoxville does or paying a full purse at the banquest like SIA does.

The Laue's are doing a great job at 34 and so are the 305s. And a lot of sprint invader guys are supporting the 305 cars any way they can. I personally think the 305 class could grow to make a great feeder class for the invaders and a great place for our younger drivers to get valuable seat time.

To start off opinion's are like a-holes everyone has one. I have talked to Amy Laue and 305's are not going anywhere for the 08' season. The class is a growing class, just look they started with 9 now there up to 12, and we should have our car there next week (#38 Seth Wilke).

The 305 cars are not a "blaw" like your friends have told you. Maybe you need to go out there for yourself and check them out, instead of bashing them and going off what your friends said. Better yet if you don't like the car count build one and come race.

In closing don't bash a new class of sprint cars to 34, I remember a few year span that their were none, and it is kinda nice to drive a few miles away from home to see a sprint cars go around the track, even if it is a small feild. One big thank you goes out to Amy and Jeff Laue for bringing sprints back to Burlington.

Wasnt bashing the 305s @34 you must not be able to read. You have a car-the 38 of Seth Wilke. Isn't that the guy that spins out atleast 5 times a night. Maybe he ought to get a new crew chief if you cant set his car up well enough to run or atleast be able to read.

I am so glad you attended the meetings and I am also glad you speak for Amy and Jeff.

Amy and Jeff are doing a Great job and i hope they keep up the great work. I hope to see them have to add seats in the future as the sport grows with their help.

Invite is there, really open to what you might think might help a 17 year old that has no experance. But I guess by your post's you have all of it, you must race or have.........more like it's easier to sit in the stands and drink your beer and bash everything that you don't like. well im going to tell you from experience when you dont have any and your trying to start its easy to spin out been there done that but at least he is out there every week trying his best and all you wanna do is sit there and make a comment like that thats dumb im sorry you cant blame him he is learning and you cant blame the crew chief he can set the car up and have the best stuff in the world but until the guy driving it learns what he is doing doesnt matter so in closing seth never seen you run but good luck and have fun thats what really matters

Sounds like some of the drivers are tired of the shit hole race tracks and the unorganization of the sprint invaders.

Heard from three of the drivers, two that are normally top five and said they were no longer running any more shows at all in illinois.

Invaders slowley but surely going down.
