Rob, it would be a steal of a deal if we weren't living on a monthly stipend from Jimmy's financial aid. Granted, it's more than most get, but still, $25 per adult on a student budget just doesn't go far. If they allowed all students to take advantage of the student price it would be great, but since he's over 18, it won't work.
We don't have the amount needed to buy season tickets up front. It sucks. So, I'm heading for Phoenix for the 6 day show. Staying at friends places and bought my tickets in advance to save money. Since I've got the Honda now, it sips gas rather than drinks it so I'm heading there and then going to check out all of the other schedules and making decisions to head to different tracks this year. With only 1 race a month, I know I can come up with the money to go for me alone, but what about getting more fans in the seats? You and I have both talked about it Rob, and the price scares people away. I wish that Perris would sit down with the teams, fans, etc and let everyone put in some info to see if we can all come to a conclusion that would help raise the purse for the racers, put some coin in the K's pocket and make it affordable for the fans. I know they have the fairboard to deal with too, but there's still got to be a better way.
