Will race in Central PA 27 to 35 race events for the Chiappelis (Spelling questionsble, sorry spelling police).
Look for them to team together to tackle the PA Posse, which begs the obvious question, are you or will you be POSSE Dude?
"seeing the my Dad George was born and raised in Wilkes Barre, PA, I am already half-Posse!"
Danny is excited about this new arrangement, witha schedule that will include, Central PA All Star, World of Outlaws, Keystone Cup, Speedweek, and most, if not all, the time trial events held in Central PA in 2012. At least 35 races, and he will win, trust me on that one.
Although he feels the team may be a little down on horsepower, he said he owns 2 Kistler 410s and will not hesitate to plug one in if he has to, to make the team's chances of winning better. He does not know much about HP Engines, the owner's choice of engines at the present, but will not let that deter him in his quest for wins against the ultra tough PA Posse. Remember naysayers, Lasoski has already said he is half Posse; can't wait to see him fulfill the wins needed to attain full Possee status.
Always kown as the Dude from Dover, wouldn't it be great if he actually took up residence in Dover, PA, right down the road from da Grove, and very close to Lincoln.
Lasoski is following a time honored tradition that started a long long time ago. Bobby Allen, Steve Smith, and
others trekking Northward from Hialeah, Florida, Jan Opperman and Kenny Weld invading and ending up staying to race against then become the best at what they did, then Van and Dub May coming in from El Paso Texas along with car builder Tony Diaz and Steve Siegel joining the fray; Weikert boasting about this young kid from Memphis who we all loved to hate Bobby Davis Jr and of course a short stint by Terry McCarl that was cut way to short due to an injured arm before we could really see what TMac was made of (God, I sure do miss Pappy Weikert, one of the greatest car owners that ever graced our central PA Speedways who amasssed the greatest win streak ever in moidern sprint car history with Doug Wolfgang winning 17, counted'em 17 races in a row both here and nationawide during what would become the month of money as we now know it), More recently, Tim Shaffer and his ride in the Apple car, Tyler Walker in the Keen mobile, Pittman and his taking names and whooping ass, Hebderson doing his thing recently. Why do they all gravitate to central PA?
Because if you want to race with the best, you leave the rest.
Name me one other area that has seen names like that move there, stay there, breath and live Sprint Cars there.
Go on, name them. I dare you.
It ain't fact if you can back it up. Weikerk was a prime Proponent of that
The above should do just that!!!

Similar to Husets but not quite, he will win there.

A few other note worthy drivers that came to PA to race include Billy Pauch and Greg Hodnett. Let's not forget Fred Rahmer left the modifies to race 410's as well. Also, Kasey Kane made a brief stop in PA to pilot the Zemco car. And Maryland's Jeff Sheppard was a standout too. I can think of no other place on earth with such a stellar weekly field of drivers.

I believe that Pennsylvania has the distinction of having the most old historic covered bridges. If that is a fact the fine folks of that state should consider a designated watch of these bridges or else the Dude will burn every one of them.

Are they called Posse bridges?
Lawlessness and liberalism equals Hell. NY City,
Detroit, Seattle, Chicago, Minnepolis, etc. We saw it.
Burning hundreds of buildings, a thousand assaults and
dozens of murders. Getting worser and worser.

I thought I remembered him at Lincoln.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

I would love for you to bring up your past 15 years and let us all hear about it. Sure, you haven't made any mistakes in your life. Also, it seems you like to put down the WoO and praise the Posse, but now you sing a different tune and put down someone who is joining the land of the Posse. Why is that?
"Maybe some of the outlaw drivers have gotten smarter and realized that the WOO isn't what they used to be. As I see it, the good days of WOO are gone. To many big shots, sitting at a desk and collecting big salaries off of the top and surely not looking out for the welfare of most WOO teams. Racing schedule is a joke this year, points fund, well wheres the increase in that? These guys haven't had a raise in the payout since when? Before long maybe they will rename it Stewart and Kahne racing series. Thanks to those two guys, theres still enough teams to keep WOO going. Now before I get hammered, let me say, It's just my opinion. Another WOO team done, and the driver is going Posse. If Woo would of gotten rid of just one of the big shots, maybe they could of saved a few jobs! But than again, I'm sure they all have each others back!"

Let's all remember that Danny is a PROFESSIONAL RACE CAR DRIVER! He will race where ever he can get a ride and make money, in essence, he's a hired gun just like Hodnett, Pitman, Tyler, Sammy, Stevie Smith and a whole lot more. I, for one, don't consider Hodnett and Pitman "PA Posse" guys. They were both HIRED to by the car owners who want them to race locally most of the time at the Grove, Lincoln and that's fine. The car owners want to watch their cars locally. Nothng wrong with that but ask any of the Posse guys if they would take a full time ride and go on the WOO tour and I bet 95% of them would be gone in a heart beat!
I know it makes a good arguement and I respect the local PA pride but calling Danny, Hodnett, Pitman, Tyler "posse" guys is stretching it a bit don't you think?

Not to mention that Hodnett said that once he started paying his taxes from and in PA, he considered himself a PA guy.
Being diplomatic? Maybe. But it is what it is.

I bet you 95% of them would not. Many have had offers and have turned them down. Many have said they would rather race here. Where they can race where ever and when ever they want. If Port Royal rains out those team can choose to go run Lincoln( vice-versa) and not get punished for racing at another track. Seems pretty obvious to me.

Hodnett has been living in Pa since the late 90's. If he is not considered a Posse driver, then you can't consider such drivers as Bobby Allen, Steve Smith or Van May Posse, since they all did what Hodnett did, and that is to relocate to Central Pa to live and race. There isn't a Sprint Car fan on the planet, who doesn't consider those three all time greats as being Posse. You have a better argument about Pittman. However, the fans of Central Pa have always considered where the Car and it's owner reside. Wolfgang was considered Posse when he drove the Weikert #29, but lost that label, as soon as he left that ride. The same pricipal applies to Lucas Wolfe. Athough he was born in Central Pa, and fans still root for him, the fans consider him an Outlaw and no longer a card carrying Posse driver.I know alot of fans outside Central Pa don't understand the difference, but it is quite simple really.

Call him Posse if you want, but the Dude is just a great driver without an Outlaw ride, just doing what he has to do to race.Hopefully this team can keep him in good enough equipment to run up front, that's a tough bunch in Posse land.

Sorry but Lasoski won't win squat in PA in that 98 car. I don't care if he plugs-in all of his engines in the same night.
