George DaBruzzi, from St. Paul, MN. Long time Sprint Car owner and fan has passed away on June 4th, Some of the Drivers who drove for him were Russ Larson, Ronnie Larson, Itch Danials, Dick Kelly, Mike Inter, Jerry Richert, Jerry Richert Jr., Jerry Lepinske, and others to name a few. The funeral is Friday June 8th at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Cumberland WI., at 10:30A.M. visititation is one hour prior to the service. Sorry I'm just posting this now, but I just found out today myself. He will sadly be missed, for he was the all time fan of Sprint cars.

I didn't know George but my uncle and cousins raced against his cars and had most of those drivers in their car at one time or another. Sorry to hear of his passing. I remember the #22 cars.

That is too bad, my Dad will be sorry he missed the funeral. My condolences to the Dabruzzi family you guys were great sprint car owners.

I'll always remember the Dabruzzi Sprint Car when it ran with the old IMCA. Saw it win a few races at the MN. State Fair. It was one sharp looking sprinter with that purple paint job.
I believe there is a picture of it in Stan's picture gallery, with Russ Laursen at the MN. State Fair.
Rest in peace, George.
