Still got a chance if you crap out on Wed or Thurs...and a real chance at that...nice work Knoxville, I like it. Can't control bad luck but still have a shot on Friday...that will actually increase the car count I think.

It should certainly keep some folks around who might have considered pulling home after a bad Wed or Thur night.
I'll be curious how the field will be set and if it is a full show of time trials/heats/C-B-A feature, or if it is some last chance qualifiers. Can't wait to hear more of the details.

my understanding is complete redo qualifying on Friday (for those not qualified for Sat A)...that's sets up the rest of the night and Sat night?????.

USAC was boring? Not the two years I went. I was thrilled when they brought the non-wings back to Knoxville. Glad you're happy that they got rid of a sprint car race-we need less of 'em!

GREAT MOVE! So many guys luck in to starting up front in the heat race, have some destruction in their qualifying heat race, and then in the feature avoid the wrecks and find themselves 15-20 in the points. While usually this is local guys (and I support low budget 110%) this is the best move for competition purposes. Good job Knoxville!
