While listening to ITunes, I got to thinking (better than sitting on the toilet...

No series or sanctioning fees and will NOT go up against the NCRA Southern sport mods.

We come up with people who would contribute to the point fund, would like to see at least $5000 with contingencies. I would schedule maybe one or two races a month at certain tracks. All the sport mod drivers that are interested would show up, run the tracks rules and payout, pay me $10 for entry fee (which would go towards point fund) and keep points for each race.

After the season the top fifteen (maybe twenty if we can get enough point fund money) will get point fund money/contingencies.

This would help each track we go to gain car count in that division and hopefully put more people in the stands.

Thoughts? Please vote.

a second sport mod series???

why? why not just do it as one? Seems to me if all was right with the NCRA sport mods....this isn't really necessary......

why not add those things to the NCRA sport mods?

Hope you don't confuse my skepticism with pessimism, but it's not like NCRA sport mods are doing so well so lets water down the scene some more. or so it seems. maybe I'm wrong. If you do it and 30 cars follow it the whole way - rock on.........just difficult to see that it's all in such great shape to create a minor league for it......it would seem that such an effort would be a great addition to the NCRA sport mod division - not on the side so it could split it all up one more way.

How much would could a wouldchuck chuck if a

Because there are track promoters who have issues with or pertaining to NCRA and will not schedule any races. Thus no more races in Oklahoma than there are.

And there are some drivers who also do not like the series.

David, it could be a good deal if all the drivers would pay a ten dollar entry fee. (locals and travelers) You would have to get the promoters to raise the pay a little. aleast 400 to win and 50 to start on those nights. I f you could get the oklahoma track to do this would be great. If you could get (Elk city,Thunderbird,Brills,Admore,Beaver Ada, Enid? if anybody open it)

I'm game, but you will need to raise the Pay to 500 as some tracks (elk city) has figured out that if you pay the sportmods they will come and race. Be nice to take the point fund money and have a championship race where the top ten in points make up the outside row of the A feature and the inside rows can be raced into. Would also like to see provisionals for the track champions of each track we race at. Sorry just thinking out loud! Lol But I am up for whatever as long as the schedule is not too tight.

It will work until NCRA schedules on top of any dates you set. C. Ray doesn't like any competition.
