In less than 2-wks. since being released ( very STUPID move ), from Penske Racing, Kurt Busch has already drawn a level of significant interest, from a number of mid to upper echelon teams, ~ ~ ~ & one of those is ~ ~ ~ Richard Petty Motorsports ~ ~ ~ for the famed No. 43 ride, a second meeting is scheduled for this wk. ~ ~ ~
As I said before he will have his choice & name his price, ~ ~ ~ some teams are already crying because they didn't get a chance to sign him yet, <:-)

Did they (napcar) start racing on dirt in winged and/or wingless varieties?
305's are the herpes of sprint cars

Kurt Busch is an a**hole. I can guarantee you, I will NOT support the sponsors of any team that hires him! He and his idiot brother, though talented as drivers, are spoiled brats!

Hate to bust your bubble Mr. Cantina, but your entire post is a contradiction in and of itself. As you stated, his release from Penske occured two weeks ago. I'm pretty sure he was free to sign with another team the next day. Why would an upper echelon team be crying that they haven't signed him when they could have signed him two weeks ago? Sorry, but that doesn't even begin to make sense.
RPM is a mid level team at best, although I expect him to eventually be competitive in the #43. The only real reason he is attractive to anyone is because of his past champion's provisional. If he's smart he'll learn to be less of a jerk and maybe this time someone will keep him around.

Richard Petty Motorsports is one of those teams desparate enough to hire someone like Kurt Busch, one of the talented A-hole brothers. Those teams are only interested in someone getting them a win, personal background be damned.
PS The Fargo track's weekly show is planning on a new class to possibly replace the Midwest Modifieds (B Mods) with mostly the same drivers but they will be driving winged sprint cars with the same B-Mod motors and 2 barrel carbs. Most B-mod drivers were in favor of this move. Teams are looking for used sprint chassis according to what I was told. BUT, could be a wildly untrue rumor.
Fargo will be having the NOSA sprints several times, those are the sprints that run Grand Forks, Winnipeg, and other specials and Fargo will be moving from Wednesdays to Saturday nights according to their website, but have a few Wed shows.
PS to my signature line in response to a minthis's signature line: "Don O'Neal's Late Model captures the 2011 Knoxville Nationals and Jimmy Owens wraps up the title in the Lucas Oil LM series both w/Cornett Chevy power and as far as your local track's, if there is a car with a non-bowtie engine (fat chance), the announcer will certainly let you know about it; PS - you could count on one hand the number of non-bowtie engines in the three-class field of 141 Charlotte Final's night entrants as well as the Knoxville Late Model nationals".
Lawlessness and liberalism equals Hell. NY City,
Detroit, Seattle, Chicago, Minnepolis, etc. We saw it.
Burning hundreds of buildings, a thousand assaults and
dozens of murders. Getting worser and worser.

Just want to eliminate any rumors. We do not intend to build any new classes for sprints, and/or replacing b mods as far as I know. We will be running the nosa sprints as well as at least 3 other sprint events including woo and all stars. We are running primarily Saturdays with a couple other days thrown in.
Not sure how we fit into this thread but I wanted to clear that up for you guys.
See you at the races!

Yeah, he was waiting for the money to stack on the table. That must be why he was talking to the #51 team I guess??? Whatever you wanna believe is fine with me. There's just this one problem with me believing it, and I guess it would be the word "reality". And the reality is that all of the top shelf teams in NASCAR already have drivers that are better than Busch, which could be the reason one of them fired him a few years ago anyway. Personally, I don't think he's an upgrade from Allmendinger, but I guess we'll see.

Owens dominates with fords. Anyone home?
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

Seriously? His actions are justified by you, because he did not know a camera was there? Weather there was a camera or not, that is no way to act, or treat people. Besides, there were other cameras there as well, ESPN camera just to name one........

"stack on the table" ~ ~ ~ rite on, & it's getting high & heavy, ```"#51 team" ``` just one of the many waiting in line, ~ ~ ~ A.J. is good, but in this case, again the moola talks,
Hear tell Best Buy wants a better, brighter, spotlight on them, which equals = drama, & Ku can give them plenty of drama, & attention, good or bad, & in my opinion any kind of attention is good,in the case of Nascar, or any racing like you guys, wing, or non wing the heavier the better, the 2012 is going to be good, ``` we'll see ```
Again ``` timing is everything,

Richard Petty Motorsports is an upper echelon team?? Really?? RPM is definately middle tier team. This is a perfect fit. Petty is underfinanced and wheather we like it or not, Kurt brings can bring in big $$$$$$$$$ and that is exactly what Richard Petty Motorsports needs.
Compliments to Penske for doing the right thing and it's a good business decision for RPM.

Come on man, while I agree that flipping someone the bird may not be rite, how do you know that someone, or something didn't give him a reason that the camera crows didn't catch ? ? ?
& besides what about the football, baseball, players, that do a lot worse, like low hits to the huevos, or hitting or pushing the refs. ~ ~ ~ then there is Serena Willams that gave the official, or someone the bird & more that once, maybe they got fined, but not banned, & you don't see the sponsors running to the chingada do you ? ~ ~ ~ & the beauty of this is the whole world sees it on tv !

What a shame that RPM would disgrace the #43 by putting a douchebag a$$hole like Kurt Busch in it! Another reason why NASCAR is a joke!
