Heard that 3 guys have been apprehended for the break-in at Custom Sprint Car Parts in Newton and stole a Fontana midget engine and a sprint car engine a few weeks ago.

Supposedly were arrested yesterday.

I would have thought Carl J. would have posted something here if true.

Anyone else have any info about this being the case ...or not the case ??

If true, the perps need to be staked to the ground (spead eagle) over the top of a fire ant mound with honey spread over their most sensitive areas....

Were they racers Carl? Got my stuff jacked last year, and a couple of buddies down here in SE IA got jacked as well. If you have some names, maybe we can link a trail?

Carl, I'm very happy you got your property back. More important, I hope you are feeling better! Most of us "Yanks" are good people.

Was Jeremy mayfield in the area by chance?
More weight, more regulation, more similarity in the
cars.... that will ensure plenty of thrills for years
to come. Only the most average talent behind the
wheel will be needed with such awesome equipment on
the track!
