I cant believe him and Shaffer split up. There is no doubt that he is gonna improve that team tremendously, but theyre not gonna do what him and Shaffer did. Good luck!

I am kind of surprised by this move as well, especially with how well Tim and him have done over the past few seasons. Was it a $$$ move or a personality problem??

Ya it makes you wonder... I cant imagine this being his best offer from a competition stand point. Money, and logistics in relation to home has to be 2 main reasons for this decision over others..

I am anxious to see how these two work together. I'm not making this statement to dis either Greg or Brian, but to only state my case (OPINIONS, if you will). As far as Greg goes I feel he has had some good guys wrenching on his stuff off and on over the past few years, but results didn't really show it. (the 20 car has had several different chassis, engines, shocks, mechanics, etc. during what i would call a period of not so good results, well at least not like in previous years when he was winning championships) On the other hand i have felt that Shaffer is just a hell of a driver and was the one making the 83 car that fast since he showed up to drive it, Brian was there before Tim and didn't have them kind of results with other guys. I'm glad to see what the 20 team can do with these two together to hopefully prove me wrong, I'd like to see Greg back to a winning fashion...AND I'm anxious to see how the 83 car fairs with their new endeavor, whoever may be wrenching it? ( I don't think it matters) One thing is for certain, I'll have some answers to my own questions this season.
do it in the dirt

Now we will get to see if it was brian or tim. Brian is a piece of the puzzle that greg has needed for awhle. Good luck to them in 2012.

I think chads recent seasons are a fair indication to how much he misses brian turning his wrenches. They were bad fast in the 15k..
