I acknowledge that this is a racing forum but there is a shameful situation thats continues unaddressed fully in this nation, and that is our homeless veterans, and don't click this away,it is a truthful statement, the next time if you reach in your wallet for a dollar to help these guys and girls if you can, give $5 or $10 to them or whatever you can, this government has turned their back on these folks and it is a true shame for America. They really need help all the time, they gave all for us its time to continue to give back to them and they truly appreciate it,I gave ten dollars to guy a couple hours ago and with tears in his eyes he grabbed my hand and said thank you sir we appreciate it and I said thank you too and tell all the others that what I'm doing right now is for them too.God Bless!

This is the same Government that honors and respects our fallen heros by throwing their remains in a landfill......

Where's the like button? I'm a Vietnam era Navy veteran and it pains me how many of my contemporaries are in dire circumstances.

Don't be silly, Mopar farmer. There have been homeless vets way before Obama.

Well said but go one further. Thank your fathers, uncles, grandfathers and friends who have served. A simple "Thank you" will bring a smile to their face.

I fly a lot and there are always service men and women around, to take an extra minute, shake their hand and thank them. Our vets don't ask for much but they deserve our respect and gratitude for keeping us safe.

Agree, and appreciate your actions. Long story short, we are sacrificing our young men and women for big money. Our young men and women deserve better. Including my sons and daughter.
