Robert Ballou just posted the 2012 USAC Schedule to his Facebook page.
https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/392181_286664928042539_150318058343894_788151_1534283455_n.jpg
They have Grain Valley listed on the night they are supposed to be at Knoxville, so apparently Knoxville and USAC aren't seeing eye to eye on the scheduling. I wish I could be at two places at once because along with Grain Valley, USAC is running the next night at Cameron, but I will already be at Knoxville.
This is frustrating to say the least.

Also they have both the 6th and the 7th of August down for Oskaloosa's Ultimate Challenge. Very odd.

I agree. Grain Valley then US 36 then Osky then on to Knoxville.Sounds like one hell of a good time!

Except there is no Knoxville race because Grain Valley replaced the Knoxville race. I wish I could go to all of these shows, but I will be in Knoxville for all 10 days of the Southern Iowa Speedweeks making it impossible to attend Grain Valley and US 36.

Looks as though a 2 day show at Osky has replaced Knoxville. Knoxville adding the Prelude on Sun before the Nationals making up for no wing show at Osky.

I think that's a mistake. It's always been a 3 day show, and I think Perris has it scheduled that way.

At first it was listed as a 3 day show on the Perris schedule, but after some consideration it's been changed as scheduled on the USAC site, a 2 day show.

They just don't get many fans on thursday.
It gives me another day at the SEMA show this way.
I got my same seats for winter challenge Kenny!

As far as the Monday & Tuesday shows at Oskaloosa, I sent an email to Terry McCarl inquiring about USAC's scheduling of 2 nights there & T-Mac sent this reply to my e-mail.
"There will still be the All Star winged cars Monday and the preliminary night to the Ultimate Challenge. You will see the best of both worlds!

Long enough?
You'll never hear me complain about watching more sprint cars race all night.

Just sounds like a way to draw the Monday night show (and infield party) out longer to sell beer.

Wish they'd really make it the ultimate challenge. You know - Win both the winged and USAC features and get the $50K or whatever they've been offering.
