I just watched the replay of his immature act on pit road. In your opinion, what should be the fine and penalty for Busch and Penske? I am thinking remainder of the season for both, 1000 driver and owner points, and a heavy duty six figure fine, each. Remember, Busch did jeopardize the safety and well being of a crewman, intentionally.

From what I saw it was attempted murder..and that is not a joke. HE should be thrown in Jail and charged with an attempted murder.

Basically after a wreck with him and Stewart. One of Tony's guys is checking the right front damage. Kurt comes on pit road and slides into Tony's right side, not slam but slides up next to at prolly 55 mph. Tony's crew guy saw him just in time and had to dive onto the hood of Tony's car or he was going to be flattened.

I like Tony better than "weeney boy" but weeney boy gave more room than the camera angle shows. He [WEENEY BOY]hurt his image with causing the wreck and then making a scene. You don't intimidate Tony out of his spot, everybody knows that!

HAHAHAHA the penalty for watching NAPCAR should be being forced to hear 24 straight hours of Sirius Nascar(trucker) radio "the most redneck radio on radio"
and also who has all day monday off to sleep on the couch in front of the race? I probably would have slept thru it too but I have a job

Hey, give the original poster a little credit, he said he just saw the " replay "...as I did last night after getting home from work. What an absolute moron! Kurt was suspended for, what, the final two races a couple years ago? You would think he would learn his lesson sooner or later. I don't think Roger Penske should be fined, I think he should be required to release Kurt , and even if he isn't required to, you would think he would WANT to, and find a driver who would actually give his organization a professional image... it will always be tainted if Kurt is driving his car. I wish Jimmy Spencer would have been in the pits nearby when that happened... LOL!!! Besides, there are plenty of other drivers that deserve a DECENT ride for once, like Blaney......
Fenders are like vacuums... they both suck.

no suspension. no points taken away. no fine to pay be fore he can race. he should race.
he should be MADE to race. but not be able to come on pit lane while any car is there before him. not get any points. have to donate money made to nascar benevolant fund. oh, and have to write "i will not be a poo-poo head" 100 times on the telestrator. no wonder 'ol bill france jr died monday. he just couldn't take it no more.

The Bush Baby had his car under control and could have stopped it short if the crewman didn't jump on the hood. A very childlike thing to do but I think the women and NASCAR watchers are making a blimp out of a balloon. Both of the racers could have avoided the on track wreck but racers will be racers. Both Tony and Kurt are pretty emotionally immature and there point totals are reflective of it. All in all it makes the racing interesting and taxi cab racing on tarmac needs all the help it can get.
I sure wish Kurt was racing in the Prelude!

I do, if I am not on the golf course in Scottsdale, Prescott, or Kapalua where I own and maintain homes.
I financed my way through college, the first time, wrenching west
coast top fuelers and funny cars. At the age of 45, five years
ago, I sold my interests in three industrial software vars and
re-entered college to obtain a teaching credential. I presently
teach high school special needs students. Not only do I instruct
the youngsters in academics, I teach them about life. One student
queried my former business partner when she spoke at my school
regarding why I was so successful. Her response, "He always respected
the individual and the individual's right to pursue happiness in his/her
own way, without casting negative judgements upon their respective
choices".
Any more flippant reponses?

I like reading all the opinions in here and am amazed at the wide spectrum of responses from bloggers. This topic is a classic. Everything from firing squad to Pole position for the next 30 races. I happen to think Busch did a very stupid thing in the pits and needs a repramend from Nascar. As for the on-track altercation.......... those two were at each other for a dozen laps hammers and tongs. Good racing. Then all of a sudden, on this lap, at this moment, Tony is xpected to "give" a little. Not the lap before, not the next lap, but THIS lap. How can Kurt expect that? Tony has taken anger managment classes and now some feel he now needs Mind Reading classes !!! I dont geddit. Sure he could have lifted, sure Kurt didn't have him cleared (duh!) but thats racing. I watch all forms of racing to see who's good at it and who's not. Anybody else see it like this?

Intentionally endanger an innocent life, the fine is $100,000 (upfront) and 100 points. Busch's wrist must have hurt for a least 40 to 50 nanoseconds. Is NASCAR that intimidated by Penske and Miller Lite?
