Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday, it's a time to reflect on all the great things in life and I personally have SO MUCH to be thankful for.
This year "Winged Nation" was born and we had a lot of fun talking sprint car racing. As a guy who covered dirt modifieds for years and then NASCAR racing for years; it was a real thrill to get back to some great dirt track racing. It's been a fun year.
I'm thankful for all our guest, our production and support staff at MRN and my co-hort Kendra.
But, more important than that I'm so thankful for passionate fans. Fans who will debate, argue and cuss each other out just because of passion for an amazing sport. And yes, we caught a few arrows along the way as well. Thanks for listening and all the feedback.
Sprint car fans -- you ROCK! And, I'm so thankful for that!

Steve, Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours !!! Hope you and Kendra keep up your great work on "Winged Nation" in 2012 and hope your personal plans for 2012 include at least one trip to Knoxville Raceway and the NSCHoF&M. Allow yourself some time to relax before Feb. rolls around. Larry

Happy Thanksgiving to EVERYONE !
We have had a great year and personally have so much to be thankful for.Thanks to everybody who bought Bud's book,"UP ON THE WHEEL".Especially the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame,Bob Baker and J.D.Cormack.There are so many more to Thank and since I can't remember all the names please allow us to include you.
Even tho our favorite racetrack,Lakeside,got hit by what seemed like un-necessary flooding from the Missouri River we are assured that they are coming back.......BIGGER AND BETTER than ever.Until then we will see you in Tulsa for our favorite race of the year.
