Who has it? The recent article says Hodnett at well over 13 but the web site says Lance at a 12.7. Thanks.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

Lances 12.7 is pre weight rule. They started a new track record for the new weight rule and yes Hodnett has that record. at 13.137..... set just last night

Many thanks. They should be selling used cars. Is everyone OK with them "stretching" the truth like this? Lance Dewease holds the track record. This is just like all the current NASCAR puppets saying current restrictor plate nonsense is better than Bill Elliott unlapping himself 2 and half times at way over 200 MPH in a 3700 lb stock bodied car with bias ply tires. Are other tracks doing this as well?

Yes a few other tracks have done this, and not the first for Lincoln either. I agree Lance IS the track record Holder. I guess they figure with the new weight rule no one will beat it, but it has been done. At Selinsgrove this year 19 drivers Shattered the old one in one night, and look what Sammy and a few othres(New Weight Rule) did to the track record at Williams Grove set By Paulas (pre Weight Rule) Nobody ever thought that one would be beat....even though we all know Paulas's was a fluke. It can be done with the Heaver cars.

I believe I heard the tower announce two driver broke the previous post weight rule 1 lap track record as well as two drivers breaking the 10 lap heat records as well.
another record last night was perhaps the ridiculous amount of yellows and reds in the twin twunees...that fella from knoxville sure had an expensive night, as did Tim Gladfelter.
Lincoln 1845 ft/.35 mile T1=118MPH
Eldora 2287 ft/.43mile T3=135MPH
Port 2716 ft/.51 mile T3=TBD
Grove 2792 ft/.53 mile T3=135MPH
Selinsgrove 2847 ft/.54 mile T1=136MPH

Fred Rahmer was the first then Hodnett broke that one.
Bill Stine broke a 10 lap track record with a 2:16.968 then Ryan Bohlke with a 2:16.517
Please keep in Mind all records broken were new Weight rule records and set this year. Not one pre weight rule record was broken At Lincoln
Here are pre weight rule records.

He ran Goodyears on all four corners. There is a Goodyear tire rule, you have to run them on the back.
