I've only been to a few midwest race tracks but for those of you who have had the opportunity to travel across the US, what dirt track(s) in your opinion, regardless of the quality of racing has the nicest facilities:
Items to consider:
Seating
Concessions
Bathrooms
Track Lighting
Parking
The safety walls
I've seen some videos of the racing at dirt tracks where the track walls looked pretty shoddy, and the lighting was spotty and dim. Does this go into consideration when racing?
As far as the things outside the track does the cleanliness of the concessions, bathrooms, how comfortable the seating is, elevator availability ect... go into consideration?

Knoxville
Lowes
Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, MO)
Elko Speedway (Elko, MN)
Eldora (since Tony has taken over ownership, huge strides in all categories)
Not necessarrily in that order.
As a racer, I doubt any of the items you listed are taken into consideration.
As a parent, I can tell you that all of the above are taken into consideration, as without nice seating, clean bathrooms, decent concessions (food quality and prices), and the Safety of the track are huge considerations for me and my family. I would probably take my son to racetracks where the bathrooms were so-so and the seating was terrible (2x8 on a brick), but I would never take him to one where I deemed the safety fence to be unsafe (FOR EITHER THE RACERS OR THE FANS).
Without all of the items you listed (except an elevator), I wouldn't dream of taking my daughter or my wife, as just one of those things can turn them off of the sport forever (and I would include other sports in that, if the restrooms suck, my wife wouldn't go to a middle school or high school basketball or football game (even if our son is playing).

Elko Speedway has everything you mentioned above. And it can either be a dirt track or asphalt track in a matter of 8 hrs. Plus they have a bar under the grandstand complete with 4 to 6 pool tables, 2 bars, a stage with bands playing with good bands while the races are going. And the staff there is second to none,

I think Dodge City Raceway Park. Nice asphalted pits. Nice Big grandstands and pit stands.

Without mentioning the obvious that everybody else will:
Route 66 Motor Speedway in Amarillo. One of the unsung nicest all the way around.
Salina High Banks Speedway in Salina, Oklahoma. Was a real nice facility and new owners are making it even more awesome. Ask those who attended this years WoO sprint show.
Dodge City Raceway Park
In Memoray: Fairgrounds Speedway in Oklahoma City was about the best in my humble opinion.

bloomington is a beautiful facility, lawrenceburg has really nice stands and bathrooms, and at lincoln park (putnamville, IN) you can sit in your lawnchair anywhere in the stands with the concrete steps design. Eldora is the only place i've ever seen selling liquor at the track, essentially they have a full bar.

One of the worst facilities, but with great racing... Kokomo. Flimsy wooden benches, bounce up and down when people walk by.

Perris Auto Speedway without a doubt has the best of all the facilities, Lighting, Parking, Seating, Sound, Food, Restrooms, Safety Crew and the very best National Anthem Singer and Anouncer in the country hands down this is the finest facility going. Along with all that the fans at the PAS always have a good time, and when the weather is warm there is always a lot of eye candy.

Aside from the seating being a little old, Ocean Speedway in Watsonville Ca. is a great place to watch a race.

Lucas Oil Speedway makes all the others look like a dump.

Gotta agree that the "Diamond of Dirt Tracks" is top notch.

On the East Coast there would have to be Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway and Selinsgrove Speedway

Lincoln's stands ect. are ok but, that poor excuse for a restroom down by turn 4 is a big detractor.
