Work has kept me up to my ears in alligators and I haven't made it here lately as I would have liked to. But I did want to update ya'll on Ray. I talk with him semi-regularly and know he loves this place and the people here. In case ya'll didn't know I just wanted to pass on that the ole boy had a very major back surgery done yesterday. They were breaking five old spinal fusions and refusing nearly his entire back. I did a single back fusion some years ago and can say from experience it is s tough one to recover from. I can't imagine how hard it will be for Ray these next six months or so. Anyway, he told me that his wife would send me updates when she gets near a computer and I'll pass them on. Thought all here may want to add him to their prayer lists for a while coz he sure cares about this site and the people here.

We will be thinking of him. It seems like just yesterday he was measuring me for uniforms. Ok maybe it was really 28 years ago. Get Well Soon Ray!!

Just got an Email from Ray himself, said he got home about an hour ago and everything went as expected but has been throwing up for 2 days and is hurting real bad right now.

Hopin for a better tomorrow for Ray and hope this Surgery helps him get better and not hurt anymore.

J.D.
