someone said they only have to run one night of the prelims for this weekend to get the show-up points. Both Shane and Jeff Swindell are not in action tonight.

From what I was told by someone at the track was that Emmett haun/track officials had a falling out b/c during pill draw track officials told ascs officials not to wear anything with ascs or Lucas oil on it and that all banners were pulled. Drivers didn't no if they got PTA or not and no tow money was given. It was also said that Emmett haun would b sueing the track but idk.sounds like a bunch of bs to me!

Sounds like maybe next year it might not be a sanctioned race. But just like every other track that puts on a big money show they will either have to sanction it or will have to compete for cars because there will be a points race not far down the road the same night. Just about every big race a track puts on or has put on in the past now has to be run by a santioning group to keep the car count up. Pretty sad and greedy !

Huh. Looks like they're not even running the ASCS format with the passing points system.
