Sooner Midget Nationals-OKC’s Biggest Open Wheel Event In Years!!!
The SOUTHERN OPEN WHEEL SERIES-National Midgets will invade Oklahoma City for the Sooner Midget Nationals this weekend at I-44 Riverside Speedway! Over 25 of the best race drivers in the world will be on hand including: Midget National Champion-Brad Loyet, Chili Bowl Feature Winner-Donnie Ray Crawford, Multi-Time Sprint Car Champion-Mike Goodman, Boat Racing National Champion-Matt Johnson, and many more!
This will mark the first time that true “Outlaw” midgets have done battle at I-44 Riverside Speedway and the first time in over 20 years that real midget cars have done battle in Oklahoma City! Midget racing has a rich history in Oklahoma City dating back to the late 1930’s with the majority of midget racing done at Taft Stadium during the 40’s and 50’s!!!
Tickets will be available at the gate both nights for ONLY $10, so bring the whole family and enjoy two awesome nights of racing!!!
I-44 Riverside Speedway in located just east of I-44 on S.W. 149th ST.
