Can you see the whole track from the lower rows?
I'll be getting leftovers after the renewals. Any suggestions?

We've been sitting 6 rows up from the bottom for the past few years down by turn 1 and they are great seats. IMO, the best seats are on the lower level, you're alot closer to the action and there are virtually no fumes.

fyi// we sit in section g row h which I think is 3 rows from the top.. if you can get seats higher up.. the better.. some times you can't see turn four if they are up against the fence only because people stand up and that makes it a problem. good luck on getting seats.

It's all a matter of preference, but I don't think there really is a bad seat (except on the back straight - and I don't think they're part of the ticket sales). My first year was on the first row going into corner #1. We could have used a helmet and tear-offs, but you could see it all and you fell like you're right in there with them. You almost are. Now I sit at the end - between 3 & 4 - about half way up in the middle. We like watching the cars coming down the back straight at us. It's an interesting perspective. You just can't see if something happens right under the wall in the middle of the turn. Then you watch the jumbotron. Some people prefer the bottom row there, but I wouldn't like the people walking in front of me so much. But if there are no fumes on the front straight - man - that's an inviting thought. I'd never heard that before. Protecting their seats, no doubt.
You're getting ready to have the time of your life. Here's hoping you can get any seats - and enjoy.

The only bad seat is at the toilet...Then still it is a good seat cause you have a beer in hand.

No fumes in turn 1, yeah that makes complete sense or should I say non sense. I have sat in several places and the last time I was there the fumes were almost more than I could handle by the 3rd night and the football sized mud clogs being slung up into the stands as the cars come off of turn 4 broke a guys nose that was sitting near us. If I ever go back I will have some kind of protection as I spent most of the time watching for clods of mud rather than watching the racing action.

I can not believe that the Expo Center can have 30,000 people in it and only 6 mens toilets avaliable to a non pit pass fan.
From a colon cancer survivor here, that is my main reason for not attending anymore.
I also think however that closed circuit TV should be in each of the stalls.

I had heard stories about the toilets at Eldora. Lucky last year Tony added on. But yet still when I walked in from the camp ground at around 11 in the morning friday , 12 toilets and 11 of them were over flowing with a line for the one good one.
And stop bragging about your colon...you don't see me doing it JK Glad you are still around

A seat on the toiletsky may not be a bad idea when it's time to take care of that business!
The only seats I don't like were in the pit side over by turn two. The support i-beams blocked the view a little. The view from up in the stands in three and four is great but we've generally sat around the first row in which ever section we got towards turn one.

Out of my 15 "Bowls", all but one were down on the front stretch. I sat "up top" one time and the fumes/smoke was a killer. Sitting down low, the fumes/smoke has never bothered me.
Yeah, sitting off of turn 4 within the first 8 or so rows is a nightmare. In 2003 we were sitting down there and clods the size of a loaf of bread were clobbering the folks about 15 seats to our left. Most of my "Bowls" have been in section "G" or "H" and I wouldn't trade those seats for anything. Just ask "KOP" who posts on here. He has probably been to more "Bowls" than me and for the first time ever he came down and sat on the frontstretch with us on the "lighter" nights. He was trying to scam some tix for the rest of the week down there.

Section CC front row Baby!!! The only way to go....in and out for beer, pee and a smoke no problem. As far as I'm concerned the only bad seats are in the bar. What a waste of money!

The fumes only got to me once a few years ago for some reason. When your sitting down low on the front stretch like we do it's not that bad.
