I see that he is selling off everything on the classified section here at Hoseheads. Its a sad day when a racer can no longer afford to pursue their passion.

If I remember correctly, the reason Toni ran the full WoO tour in 2010 was that he wanted to do that before he quit driving. The reason being he has other interests outside of racing that took up too much time to allow him to race as much as he wanted (or something similar to that).
While I agree that costs are still out of control (hasn't cost containment been discussed for years...and basically no progress???), I don't think that's the cause for Toni's selling off all of his equipment.

He did race at least one time with the outlaws when they were out west.

Not the first time he has sold everything. Last time he did that the Hard 8 team of Jon Kantor bought all his goods and Toni bought new again. Hes not done he just needs some new toys.
