You probably read the news on the internet message boards or heard it from a friend or saw the you tube video Nathan Prince posted at http://youtu.be/FZi9FNaGYFM, but after 15 years as Skagit Speedway announcer and last 16 years as announcer of the Northwest traveling 360 series originally called the Northern Sprint Tour and then NSCS and now the ASCS Northwest tour Fred Rannard Jr has decided to step down as the announcer. I was able to have a great 25 minute interview where we talk about his decision and recap the season this year. Whether you live here in the Northwest or not Fred is one of those names you have heard and just one of the many great announcers in this sport we all love. Good luck with the ASA series up in Canada, Hockey, and the Lacross and can't wait to see you back at whatever events you make in 2012.
