Just watched my Tivo'd Wind Tunnel from Sunday (yes, I'm a few days behind) and saw that Kyle Larson will be on Wind Tunnel this Sunday night.
My prediction:
He will win that too.
Another prediction?
Chili Bowl.
Best line from Wind Tunnel:
"Kyle won three times as many races last night as Danica Patrick has won in her career, yet Danica-nearing the end of her worst season in 6 years as an Indy Car racer is rewarded with the Hendrick cars and a guaranteed Sprint Cup ride. What's wrong with that picture?"
That's ok, Kyle. You need to stay in the dirt anyways. Somebody just needs to bring the money here.

That is the best quote perhaps in the history of EVER! I want nothing more than Danica to have Kyle to race against in the Nationwide series. Then she can have her true calling to fall back on. Who is it gonna be? Playboy? Penthouse? Hustler? At least she can be truely successful being paid by one of those three.....Whose ur GODADDY? :-)

From looking at History.
Only Hewitt has ever swept all 4 crowns (1998).
Several have gotten 2 Crowns.
Then until Larson NO ONE has had 3 crowns.

1. You can't say "DanICKa" without saying "ick".
2. Enjoy Kyle Larson while you can because he won't be around long before NASCAR gobbles him up.
3. Amazing accomplishment winning three features in one night. I personally think Hewitt sweeping all 4 is the greatest accomplishment in motorsports history, especially winning that mod feature against all those regular mod drivers. Kyle's wins were without ever setting foot in the place before so there is definitely something to be said about that.

What is it about Eldora that makes 3 & 4 such a prime slider corner but 1 & 2 not so much? Seems like 90% of the successful sliders always happen in turn 3 & 4 and the majority of the ones in 1&2 don't work or get real ugly
Loose is when you hit the wall with the rear of the
car, tight is when you hit the wall with the front of
the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and
torque is how far you move the wall.

Track is almost D shaped and has more banking on the back stretch than the front. Easier, I would think, to set it up and pull it off into 3 and 4. Been goin there 40+ yrs and you are correct in that a higher percentage of the ugly stuff happens in 1/2. Seems that way anyway.
