Thanks to the Iowa Racing Family there will be a "Carwash Mike Hard Luck Award" at the Fall Nationals this weekend in Chico!
Friday's "Carwash Mike Hard Luck Award" at the Fall Nationals will pay $200 & on Saturday it will pay $285.
The Iowa Racing Family is made up of:
Chad Adams aka The Krazy Korean
Craig Trei "Savage"
AJ Mottet "Dingus Lounge"
Erin Johnson
Julie Ripperger
Rustin Nelson

More money has come in for the hard luck award from an unknown supporter, who is adding $100 to each night.
So the "Carwash Mike Hard Luck Award" at the Fall Nationals will currently pay:
$320 on Friday night
$385 on Saturday night

So the hard luck award is now up to:

I really like this idea! Thanks to everyone for a very fitting tribute to "Carwash Mike". I didn't know him, but from what has been posted, he was a great fan.
It would be nice to see such an award at more events. We all know drivers who had something happen beyond their control that takes them out of a program (like a part failure that ends up with an upside down car during time trials).
