I assume your referring to his win in July, correct? That win was impressive.
Because I don't think Danny Holtgraver, the Matus' crew and Carl Bowser have much of a chance at defending home turf...Lernerville is Western PA for the 238th time this week.
Just another California fan that knows NOTHING about racing outside of the Golden State.

Hawk, They just don't get it do they??? Lernerville might as well be in Ohio as far as the Pa Posse fans are concerned. The last time I checked, just about all the heavy hitting Posse drivers were at Lincoln on Saturday night. That's ok, I do believe Williams Grove is in Central Pa and the WoO will be there this coming weekend.

There really aren't that many Western PA chestpounders on any message board. But hey, you never know if they win ONE race vs the WoO maybe we will see a massive outbreak of unintelligent chestbumping from that region as well.

Eh, California, West Coast what's the difference. His post showed his knowledge of racing outside of that region.
Yeah, bt, it's actually pretty humorous how ridiculous some of these posts are. Is it a coincidence that they are all coming from the same coast?

You lump a whole coast together and that's ok but you always have to make a distinction about posse only being from central pa, nevermind the rest of the relatively small state... The fact that the posse had the outlaws in their state and they didn't race against them further reinforces the belief of 90% of sprint car fans that the posse are one track wonders. I don't feel that they are just one track wonders but as long as they skip a high paying show in their own state, that's what they will be considered. It's pretty simple really. Now for the bigger question of why I am wasting my time arguing online with a damn kid...
Cheers!

Even with the level of stupid posts that have been generated from my coast recently nothing compares to the dumb shit posted by several posse fans on here year after year. Not saying all posse fans but several vocal morons who don't have a clue.
Cheers!

Not really looking to further a stupid argument of here. But I don't think your 90 percent figure is anywhere close to accuate This board has lost the overwhelming majority of quality posters in recent years because it was allowed to get so completely out of hand that all that is remaining is people looking to troll and stir shit. The overwhelming majority of threads on here get almost no replies or views anymore, unless it is a thread to bash someone. The whole "one track wonder" thing, much the "slowest half-mile" BS, started as a trolling point by posters tlooking to instigate for entertainment value.
If "90 percent of Sprint Car fans" felt that way, driver from PA would not rank so high year in and year out in NSCHOF poll of media members from across the country. The thing about this board is that the overwhelming majority of posters on here bash and flame away about tracks and drivers they have never even seen.
As far racing Lincoln over Lernerville, Brian Monteith won $6,800 with virtually no travel expenses as opposed to the $10,000 offered at Lernerville. It seems counterproductive not to support an extra paying race locally at a track that offers teams a place to race for a good weekly purse all season long. If teams and fans don't support their local track, you get to a point where local 410 racing shrivels up and dies like it has in so many places.

CA are really proud on here, but do they really support their own racing? Or do they just chest pound about 3-4 drivers that left there the minute they could? The WoO sanctioned Gold Cup paid $12k to Kyle Larson. The same night the Unsanctioned Tuscarora 50 paid $12.5k to Stevie Smith at Port Royal. Pretty sad state of affairs when you need the WoO just to get your purse close to an unsanctioned purse in PA. I hope you boys enjoy shopping, once your tracks are replaced with strip malls for lack of support, that's all you'll have.

Can't help it if WoO scheduled in at Lernerville on a Sat night (usually these are middle of the week shows). Lincoln Speedway had it's Kenny Weld/Hilly Rife Memorial Race on Saturday night and all the Posse stayed home and raced a great 40 lap tribute show. No, it might not have paid much, but the Posse support their local tracks very well.

Agreed, if the Lernerville race was scheduled on any other night, besides Friday or Saturday, there would have been at least 6 to 8 Posse drivers there to race.

Wasn't it just a little more than a month ago that one of the Pro-Posse posters was stating that the Posse was gonna win the Knoxville Nationals for the second year in a row? Let's see, Tim Shaffer, from Western Pa. won in '10. Here, Western Pa. was counted as Posse land for that thread. Now, for this thread, Western Pa. is regarded as being part of Ohio. How does that work?

...and we all know who that poster is, and he has successfully riled up the entire rest of the sprint car fans in the nation continuously. Like elementary kids on the playground, some people can't say no to him. Everyone else from PA has noted that Tim Shaffer is from Western PA, runs with the All-Stars, and hasn't had ties to Central PA in years. Funny that's never brought up, just the words of one person. Cubic enjoys what he does, and frankly some of the posts are funny. When Jonathan Allard came out here last year and was literally a B-main back marker, not one person from PA made mention of it. When Tony Stewart and Kasey Kahne each needed a provisional to make a regular field at Lincoln (maybe PA is a two track wonder?) with 30 cars on hand, it wasn't brought up. We know it's tough to come here, just glad they came out here to run, more quality cars, the better. If someone from PA runs bad in CA, he's hopeless and should never have a ride, and there are 5 threads from 5 different people to tell us about it. Hypocrisy is alive and well on this forum. Meanwhile, what gets lost in all this fan "smack talk" is that the drivers from all of these regions have a tremendous amount of respect for each other, and have talked about it numerous times. Perhaps we should all sit back and realize how lucky we are to have them all, it certainly would be a better way to appreciate their efforts, regardless of where they come from or where they choose to race.
