Garner and Bakker were very fast. Just when it got good closing in on lapped traffic the 28 would spin out

Just before the restart Russ stopped on the front straight sideways and held the brake on so they couldnot push him in the pits. Then he had a official by the shirt. Got a DQ

I talked to one of the officials after the race and he said he was black flagged for not going to the work area to do work on the car. During the stop on the front stretch, they were to put fuel in only, and they got caught making adjustments on the car while putting fuel in. Not good. He looked like a contender, and was running well.
