(Oxnard, Ca., September 22, 2011) On November 19th, Ventura Raceway will crown the King of the Beach at the final Battle at the Beach VRA vs. USAC Midget event. Not only will a champion be crowned but there will be a little extra on the line for the night’s feature winner. Ventura Raceway is seeking lap sponsors at $50 a lap for the 30 lap feature event. This is an excellent opportunity for fans and local businesses to get involved and support a great event. Laps are not just limited to fans and businesses though. Drivers, owners, and crew are welcomed to pitch in their dollars for a lap. Anyone is invited to sponsor one lap or multiple laps. If a driver leads all 30 laps, it’s an extra $1,500 in their pocket.
Each sponsor will have a lap of their choosing and a short message to go with that lap. Laps will be filled as requested; if your lap is not available you’ll be given the closest lap possible. If all laps have been filled, we will continue to take sponsors for other lap awards such as leading the first lap and leading the halfway lap and others. All sponsors will be listed in the event programs and on www.venturaraceway.com.

Lap prize sign-ups will also be available at the Thunderhead booth at the raceway beginning on Saturday September 23. Once your check is received by the office, your name and message will be added to the sponsor list. In its inaugural season the Battle at the Beach series has given Ventura some of its best Midget racing in recent memory. This is your chance to be a part of this exciting event, don’t miss out!

watching the weather close on this one gotta make a choice soon and head for usa raceway or hope the weather changes for this in the next 24 hours . ty tom of thunderhead for the great stadium seat , blanket , hoodie ,and T- Shirts .
We need more sprint car racing at our home track.
