Shuman Drops in for a Chance at Beaver Stripes Cash!
Kevin Montgomery, Peoria, Ariz. (September 21st, 2011) -Casey Shuman will make a rare appearance in his home state as he travels west and straps into the Shon Deskins owned Ellis Sprint car for a shot at $2000 in the ASCS Wingless go at Peoria, Arizona's Canyon Speedway this Saturday night.
Shuman, who has climbed the ladder of Sprint Car racing in a traditional fashion and has managed to make a name for himself in the Indiana Sprint Car world.
"Lil Shu" will bring his Indiana experience to his home state as he prepares to take on the best in the west as the "Sherminator", "Chargin Charles" and the "Lil Racer" RJ Johnson prepare to defend their ASCS home turf.
A very stout field of ASCS Sprint Cars are set to do action along with the Canyon Speedway Stock Cars, ASCS2 and X-Mods for a full night of fun. The action begins when general admission tickets go on sale this Saturday at 5pm for only $15, racing will begin promptly at 7:30pm. Kid's 12 and under are FREE!

I'm thinking that this is a very good sign that he'll be here next month for the USAC Show. It sure won't hurt any to get some good competitive laps in on the track before next months race. What say Casey, are you going to make it back next month?

Yes is my guess Kenny!!...more n likely the Ovals also,which he came so close ta win'n a few yrs back!!..alota Racin'/Win'n for him, stil go'n on round Indy for him ta miss while out here for a tune up/test/shake down in Shon's #20 Car!!...will be good for all, to see him Home again (Rattle Snake Bend,Az.)!!.eh Shu!!...at Canyon!!....Congrats on a Great season so far!!.....stil some Big'ens left!!........

Over on Robbie's ABC message board http://www.abcmotorsports.com/ Shon answered that same question with,
"Kenny , If he runs good this week we will keep him for a few more shows coming up , lol ,,,,but he is dealing with a few things today so maybe he will reply tomorrow , SDR"
