Cowtown 9/24: Late Models, Trailer Race, Bikini Contest & Points Championship Night!

Saturday September 24th at Cowtown Speedway in Kennedale Texas will certainly be a wild night of on, and off, track action; as it features: $1,000 to win for Late Models, $1,000 to win Trailer Race, $500 to win Bikini Contest, plus Season Championship night in all of the Cowtown points divisions.

The USRA Modifieds, Limited Modifieds, Bombers, Winged A-class 600’s & Winged Restricted 600’s (both on the ¼ track), plus Street Stocks will round out the full racing card. For remaining 2011 events, Bombers and Street Stocks will be allowed to compete from all area tracks. Please bring your track rules with you so your car can be inspected following the races using your track rules. There is a $50 entry fee for the trailer race. Late Model drivers that have questions about their race details, please contact Patrik Daniel.

The $500 to win Bikini Contest (no entry fee) will take place during intermission.

6:30PM Start Time! Gates open at 4pm and racing starts at 6:30pm. All pit passes on Saturday September 24th are $30, and there is a $10 draw fee for each car in the Cowtown point’s classes. On the grandstand side, special event pricing will be in effect, with adult tickets $15 for ages 12 and up, ages 6-11 will be $5; and all kids 5 and under are free!

Fans can bring in a drink cooler (size of a 6-pack) as long as they do not have glass containers.

Following this week’s race, the next Cowtown Speedway event will be “Round 1” of the Cowtown Crown to be held on October 7th and 8th. Complete event details are located at the homepage of the track website.

There is going to be two classes: 'stock' and 'modified.'

And I'm assuming they're going to be checking the stock division really closely to make sure their C.I.D. hasn't been altered.
