On Friday, Sept. 9th, Vintage race cars had a good showing at the Salina Speedway. There was ten cars from area towns including Wichita, Beloit, Concordia, Belleville, Rose Hill, Salina, and New Cambria. The track was well prepared. The vintage group appreciated being invited and to participate in an evening of racing at Salina. The Salina Speedway promoter was the impressed with the show and has invited us back for 2012. Thanks to Larry Cottam and Todd Krahl for putting the show together.

That #9 has that 60-70's Tulsa look with an 80's body on it??? What car came from Belleville. Is it a new car in the vintage ranks? Who is the dark colored car at the end? Looks like #2?

The 9 car is Art Bybee's old car now owned by Ernie Hudson, the black car #7 is owned by Don McCesney from Belleville.
